“Me and my family went for dinner excited for a new restaurant in town and it was great! The food was good ever looked well kept and clean. The dining room was clean and had a good atmosphere. I loved the sauce and salsa bar which was a great addition to the restaurant. My little sister drew a sign for them and they loved it and were super kind. Definitely would recommend.“

“Had late lunch earlier dinner as we just missed the lunch cut off. The food was excellent and so many choices to choose from. We had the large guacamole and it was the best ever and it was very large. I had the quesadillas ranchera and they were tasty. Would have to come back several times to eat more of their creations and definitely will. Service was great and atmosphere good. I will be back.“

“I had a party of nine. but we separated the checks three different ways. I also ordered a taco salad to go. when we got our checks they automatically wanted to put the tip on the receipt of what we were going to pay. we couldn't pick or. choose what we wanted our tip to be. they were rather slow for it being Cinco de mayo. and the waitress hardly ever came over to our table. but when I brought my to go order home for my loved one, they found a piece of clear plastic in their taco salad. but when we went to go complain to the manager about the receipts he refused to change the tip and said that it was mandatory even though we wanted to do a cash tip. I definitely would not recommend.“

“The food is decent and the townies love this place. So when I say I'm so townie, I don't like the place any different than usual. It's not my selection and I probably eat from here often because of the townie appeal of dynamic must go here and not wherever I would select on my own.

If you're in the Oakwood area and craving some Birria Tacos, TIO LOCO is worth a visit! This nice little spot is tucked off to the side of the BP gas station on Hwy 53 (beside the COOKOUT), right off 985. The address might say Gainesville, but for me, this is Oakwood.
The Birria Tacos here are solid—juicy, flavorful, and sure to satisfy your taco cravings. They of course have your other menu items that you may want to check out, but I've been on a birria kick for a while now ? It's definitely a spot to check out if you’re nearby!

“Awesome, friendly staff... and Sergio, the owner is a wonderful role model for his employees! The cheese dip and salsa are the best... and I am considered a bit picky... I am a creature of habit and have a "usual" order... for 5 years, this place was my local "Cheers" where everybody knew my name (& order), then I moved to the West Coast for 5 years - finally found a Mexican restaurant in Spokane, Washington that was similar, but now I have moved back to Georgia - and I am happy to be back in my local stomping/chomping grounds!“

“Incredible and very accommodating staff. My family has a family dinner night here 2-3x per month where all of my siblings and their families, parents and their spouses, cousins, etc. all come together to spend time with family. Food is delicious. Margaritas are amazing. Staff is above and beyond.“
