Their roasted pork and duck are truly crispy and come with the special hoisin sauce instead of the duck sauce. The Peking duck is even better and more delicious! “Food truck; they were about to close, but went ahead and let me place my order. I had some kind of Shrimp w/ sauce, some type of rice recipe and steamed cabbage (love cabbage). I am not familiar with Jamaican food, but it seemed pretty genuine. The Shrimp was the best I have had anywhere (better than a fancy restaurant, seriously). They were cooked perfectly, and were very large and still tasted great (very impressed with the size, how they were cooked and the quantity of food). I ordered the Combo 1. I got to try their pulled pork, sliced brisket, pulled chicken, fried okra, and Mac. The pulled pork is very tender with flavor. The sliced brisket has the most flavor but it is pretty tough. The chicken has decent flavor but better texture. The fried okra was extremely good. I would come here just for that. The Mac is decent. I like their assortment of BBQ sauces. I mix the sweet with the heat.“

“I was very excited to try Jang Su Jang! I've heard lots of good things and wanted to eat some authentic Korean Food! We got the 된장찌개 and the 갈비찜. The Soybean Soup did not taste bad, but it was definitely different than what I am used to. I've had it at many different restaurants before, and the taste at Jang Su Jang is very different. Despite this, it was still pretty good, but not what I was hoping for.

The Braised Beef Short Ribs were humongous. We could not finish it, but it was decent. I wasn't really blown away by the taste of the food. However, the service was impeccable and extremely friendly. I would still recommend this place.“

The latter takes her 2 years to make!! I love the food and the warm service here so much that I have added this restaurant to my advanced directive…it’s my requested last meal, should I be so lucky. :-). Once you've eaten here you will understand why her walls are covered with "Best of Atlanta' awards dating back two decades.

Vegetarian options: The wonderful vegetable side dishes (Banchan) are the best part of eating here. And she is always creating something new and exciting.

My mom was born in Seoul, Korea, so I grew up eating authentic Korean dishes and have a very discriminating palette. With that said, CHOI’S is totally legit Korean deliciousness. The food is always fresh and flavorful, the portions are generous, and the staff is incredibly kind with a strong spirit of servitude! Oh, and the SIDES are sooooo good.
