“Today was my first time trying this restaurant. I took my first bite and it was so good that I had to stop what I was doing to write a review! This place is awesome! The food was fantastic and the service was excellent; that is a potent combination! I love their selection of Cuban products! Needless to say, I will be back for more!P.S. I saw some reviews complaining about the prices; remember you are paying for quality. Not to sound pretentious, but if you want cheap food then go to a national chain. If you want high quality food made with high quality ingredients then try La Piragua Pizza!“

“Read the reviews and followed the trail. Pretty good size. Place needs a little updating. The food made up for the decor. Usually try drinks and appetizer to get a sense of taste. The drinks were a little disappointing. Had a Sangria and a Mojito. The Sangria lacked flavor. Tasted like watered down wine. The mojito needed a little kick. Started with the Trifongo as an appetizer. Ful of flavor, you could taste the garlic and yuca mixed with the plantains. Moved in for the main course. Hemingway Chicken. Had tostones with white rice. The helping was only two of the tostones. Misunderstood as a salad included as well. The tostones were crispy and fully cooked. The rice was well cooked and fully popped. The chicken was well cooked, mushroom cheese sauce flavorful was a great addition. Definitely excited to try this place again.“

“I've been a fan of Mambo Cafe since they were located on Haynes Bridge road. We found them, like many places, by taking a shot in the dark and giving it a try. My goodness what a great place and excellent food. When they moved to exit 11 it made it so much closer and the food is still excellent. Every time I try a different dish I tell myself that this one is the best so far! Man great place, excellent service and decent prices. Hard to beat!“

“The yuca fried was plentiful and delicious. I am not a big fan of the ketchup-mayo dipping sauce it comes with, but another person at the table liked it. The empanadas were tasty and high quality shredded beef inside. The Don Julio margarita I had was strong but not my favorite tbh.The prices here are generally more expensive than going to Papi's Cuban, but Armandos is the only place like this around for a 20 minute drive.“

“Very nice quiet spot to get a quick lunch bite. While I'm waiting for my seat covers to be installed came to grab a bite. Lunch stew chicken rice n beans plantain and a salad . This was good for lunch also comes a drink . It's also a really good price 13 bucks for the lunch and you're full.“

“Put on your dancing shoes and check out Mojitos! This restaurant features a live band (including the owners) on Friday late and until Midnight Saturday night. I went on Saturday and the place was full; including the dance floor. I had to get out my seat as well ? had a time.They pride themselves on having the best mojitos and serving the best Cuban American food in town and it shows! “I LOVE this place. Staff is always smiling and friendly. You get a little piece of Cuba (and Colombia!) every time you go with the experience of the atmosphere and food. Food is delicious and affordable. I'm not a pork eater and there are a few very good vegetarian options like the veggie plate and veggie sandwich. I get my son the side of black beans and rice which he loves. Mango juice is delicious and so are the empanadas and desserts!Vegetarian options: Veggie plate (like the ropa vieja but without meat, and beans and onions and green pepper instead). Veggie sandwich that is delicious, it's like a panini.Kid-friendliness: Booths and chairs. 2 high chairs.“

“Had lunch there with my girlfriend. The food was prepared well and was very delicious. The staff was very friendly and very courteous. I would recommend this place to friends and family. The Grilled Chicken fillet was cooked perfect. My girlfriend had the Vaca Frita. The White Sangria was awesome. My girlfriend had the Red Sangria. The Guava Cheesecake is to die for. Overall the atmosphere and cleanliness was excellent..“

“My first time visiting and I ordered online. Long story short, I completely messed up my online order and when I went to pick up it, they so graciously offered to fix my mistake without issue. I told them it was ok because it was my fault but they insisted. Their customer service is beyond incredible! Not only that, but the food was ah-mazing!! I loved everything I got and even saved some to bring home for dinner because the portions were a great size. Thank you so much to the amazing staff there! I’ll definitely keep coming back!“
