“This place is neat and clean. You can smell amazing aroma and sizzling once you enter the restaurant. I have tried their ‘All For One (1/2 Chicken, 3wings, 1 Side)’ - platter. I went for garlic sauce for the chicken, which was delicious and lemon and herb for the wings, which was kind of okay.I went for peri peri fries as the side. Loved the smoky flavor in the chicken. Presentation was good and it’s a halal place. It would have been great if they provided some extra sauce on the side as it was bit dry for the takeaway.Overall the taste was good. Great service. They give you good recommendations.Tried their peri peri chicken burger + fried which costed me $11.99 I think it was good, the sauce and filling seems to be fine. Chicken had smoky favour. Fries were good but it was bit pricy.“
“I was looking for a great Jamaican restaurant in the area and I found it. The food and service were excellent!! I ordered brown stew chicken, rice and peas, cabbage, plantains, beef patty and ginger/fruit punch drink. All tasted authentic, like real Jamaican home cooking. I am Jamaican so I know?. Lorna and her staff are friendly and truly seem to care about the quality of the food they serve. Looking forward to trying everything on the menu.“
“My husband and I had a really delicious meal at Briskfire tonight! We walked in and we were greeted immediately, the restaurant was very clean, and we got our food within five minutes of placing our order. We tried the beef short ribs platter, the beef brisket, the mac & cheese, and the french fries. All of them were delicious. The house made barbecue sauces were fantastic, my husband really enjoyed the hot sauce and I enjoyed the regular sauce. The owner was there and checked on us to make sure everything was tasty. They did not have banana pudding, but that just means I’ll have to come back to try it another night. I would recommend this place for a casual dine in experience or takeout.“
“Al Zein????!!!!!!!???!!!!!! More like Al Pain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The size of the shareable kanafa put me into extreme pain. It was good, for the ONE single bite that I took. Who can even share this portion size? A ladybug?!! A hamster???!!!!!!?? I have bad eyesight and needed to put on my zoom glasses in order to find it in the plate!!!! It was so tiny it slipped through the cracks in my fork and I needed to use tweezers to pick it up. I almost mistook it for an orange piece of lint. I cannot believe they are charging such a high price for such a small piece of kanafa but what else can you expect from Saudi Arabians. I’ll be back but please make the portions bigger.“
“Y'all this chicken is GOOOOOD! If you love the lighter breading but flavorful crunchy of Taiwanese chicken nuggets, you'll love this. Reminds me of my usual fave Cuckoo's cafe chicken though this one doesn't have pickled vegetables so it's not tops for me. BUT it's still freaking delicious. Portions are HUGE. My husband and I got the couples set and it came with TWO sandwiches, fried wings, roasted wings, and nuggets for only $25. Mins literally blown as most places would charge $12 for each item alone. Cannot beat this deal. Our friend got a fried chicken bucket and devoured his. All the chicken was very flavorful with a good crunch on the outside and moist on the inside. Service is countertop and the cashier was friendly. She even offered us free keychain toys at the end. Ambience is similar to a fast food joint. It's located next to China Hot Pot and there's plenty of parking via lot.“
“Shalimar has consistently delicious indian/pakistani food that is prepared so well! I am Indian so I know my food. It isn’t soaking in grease and doesn’t leave you feeling disgusting and bloated afterward. The food is delicious! The naan is perfect, rice is fluffy, kebabs are cooked so perfectly and tender, and the curry dishes are prepped with a different flavor in each dish that complement beautifully. Most places just throw in different meat in the same sauce and send it out. You can tell they put love and thought into their food. The service is also top notch. The gentleman taking our order was great and made sure we left satisfied. As long as the quality stays this good and service is top notch, we will be back again and again!“
“Went there after a long time and were reminded how good the food is. The chicken karahi is the best with the soft afghani naan which is more like bread. The Chana had a unique smoky flavor. The Chapli kabab had a great texture to it and we all love the kabuli pulao. The pink Kashmiri style chai was so good. The service was good the server came by multiple times to check on us. I look forward to come back and considering catering from them.“
“We really enjoy coming here for lunch because it's just so convenient for us since we work nearby. Every item on the menu here is just so tasty, but I have to say my top picks are the Koefta sandwich with fries and the Falafel Platter. And the best part is, the owner is always super friendly and welcoming!“
“I eat here frequently, about 5 times a month. I love the okra dish, the Lamb Korma, the amazing super crispy puff-ball of bread (sorry, don't know it's name), the vinadloo, the tomato soup made with ginger!, the...really I like it all. But my favorite is the Lamb Korma.Suprised to let you know, my picky eater likes their Lamb Korma, too, and loves the Naan bread! The Lunch Special really is special, great price for good food and generous portions!“
“We've come here several times for lunch at work. They have a smaller lunch menu that allows the food to come out fast. You get a soup, side curry and chickpea fritters along with your entree for a great price and everything is delicious!“
“My family and I have been coming here since it first opened and we have absolutely loved eating their chicken! It is currently our favorite and #1 place for pollo a la brasa (peruvian rotisserie chicken) in GA. Although not the best peruvian restaurant overall, it surely beats all others only with their really outstanding chicken. If you want to find even better chicken, you'd have to go many hours away to other states. It's great priced, good quality (mainly the chicken), and well portioned.Pollo a la brasa 9/10- It's really juicy and flavorful! It outranks other peruvian restaurants that offer pollo a la brasa in Georgia through its portion size and notable quality of authentic spices of the marinade flavor. The strong and greatly seasoned flavors from the spices is embedded deep into the chicken meat and is not just skin deep like other peruvian restaurants. It was bursting with all the right flavors but was missing the most authentic one, and that is the wood-fired smoky flavor that comes from using a wood fired oven instead of a regular oven. One thing I enjoyed a lot was that the fries were actually crunchy and not soggy like most other restaurants have them. They are not homemade and seem to be frozen fries but it's better than soggy fries. Like in any other restaurant, it can vary depending on their product inventory and who is cooking the fries. Despite that, the fries were not seasoned and rely on the sauces to make up for it.Sauces 8/10- flavorful but not my favorite. The sauces have good herbal taste but lack other flavors and salt. It's the right flavor but just lacks a special touch. I recommend adding salt and a touch of zest from vinegar or a few drops of lemon. Regardless, it pairs well with the chicken and fries. The salad vinaigrette is delicious and well made.Arroz chaufa side 2/10 - the thing I least recommend here. Although it looks delicious on picture, the flavor is bland. It's lacking everything that authentic peruvian fried rice would offer. They definitely focused on the quality of the chicken more than this side.Kid-friendliness: Which kid doesn't love chicken? If not, there is salchipapas that kids often enjoy.Wheelchair accessibility: No dislevels to reach the restaurant and both the ordering counter and tables would pose no issues for those in a wheelchair.“
“I cannot emphasize how amazing my experience here was. The food was so delicious. I got the Chicken Curry and my friend got the Butter Chicken with the Garlic Naan Bread and when I tell you I left there with a full stomach and a smile so big you could see your reflection on my teeth it was worth every penny and every second. They service was amazing. These were some of the kindest individuals I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. They were very kind and respectful and I will most definitely be back for more. I highly recommend this establishment if you’re looking for authentic Bengali Cuisine. They workers are kind and don’t hesitate to thank them and tell them how amazing their food was because it’s that good. I recommend this to everyone! EVERYONE!“
“Everything was perfect! Food at the restaurant was delicious, groceries were top-tier, a room to pray in, clean restrooms, everyone was so kind and welcoming. Highly highly recommend. Can’t wait to bring my whole family! Thank you!! ???Vegetarian options: Cheese pies, spinach pies, falafel, rice, hummus, pita bread, etc.Kid-friendliness: Very comfortable & spacious for children.“
“Straight up deliciousness. You know it’s good when you take a bite and unknowingly start nodding your head in approval and no one else is in the room. I will definitely be ordering again. Fair pricing and lots of food. Anyways I ordered delivery so I’m not sure about the service or atmosphere.“
“Halal Guys is a late-night gem! Their chicken, gyros, and falafel platters are a great options, satisfying cravings even in the wee hours. The fact that they're open until 3 am on Fridays and Saturdays is a game-changer. I like to order a platter. It comes with your choice of protein, rice, lettuce tomatoes and then you can add onion, green peppers, jalapeños, white sauce and hot sauce. Each bite is a burst of flavor, making it the perfect spot for a tasty, late-night feast. Try the hot sauce with caution! A must-try for those looking for a delicious and convenient dining option during late hours! It's a better option than McDonalds and Taco Bell when you're still hungry but don't want fast food.“
“Absolutely LOVED the food. I had the spicy buffalo shawarma platter with falafel and grape leaves (new for me) and it was INCREDIBLE.First, the place is quite small, but cozy. There is enough seating and I loved the small mom and pop shop vibe that was there. This is a small business and it feels that way too (in a good way). I ordered for pickup and the food was already there waiting for me. Good first impression!I got home and to my surprise it was still steaming hot, which is pretty impressive. They loaded my plate up with shawarma and loved the rice that they had. The chicken was incredibly juicy and tender, but so flavorful and seasoned. The rice was incredible too, it was also seasoned as well. The falafel were pretty great albeit a bit small, but the grape leaf was pretty interesting. It is an acquired taste that I really really liked, the only thing I can compare it to is a very pungent and somewhat sour roll of rice. It was really really good though and I wish I ordered some more. Portions were great though, I had a ton of chicken and rice and I have leftovers, so no complaints there.Overall, I'll definitely come back again and order some more. Genuinely great food and great staff as well!“
“Store is amazing and has a lot of varieties.1-star deduction for the kitchen. Specifically the Konafa. It has nothing to do with an actual Konafa. Not Palestinian as claimed, and has weird yellowish spices added that shouldn’t be there. Avoid unless they get someone who can actually do a proper Nabulsi Konafa. My taste reference is from Quidar Al-Nabulsi that’s well known in the Middle East.“
“Great place with some rare Bangladeshi items. Their iftar box is awesome. Each and every food was great. Talking about 2024 Ramadan time. The selection of frozen fishes was also a lot. Seasonal Bangladeshi fruits, and vegetables are the perks of this place,Out of 10:Place - 8Cleanliness - 9Hygiene - 8items available - 9Driving - 10walking - 10Hiking - N/ACycling - 7Food cost - 9Washroom - 7People/staff - 9weather - N/AArea environment - 10Vegetarian options: You need to find out. “The food was very tasty, and everything was correctly prepared the first time. ( we always have complex, complicated orders because I have a family full of PICKY eaters!! )Even better than the food was the service. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable.Kid-friendliness: The staff was wonderful with the kids at our table. This is definitely a kid friendly atmosphere.“
“For people who eat halaal only this place is amazing! I can finally feel comfortable knowing pork didnt cross contaminate my pizza like in most places. The chicken bacon pizza with the white sauce is great if you like a lot of sauce you can ask for more they put a thin layer but its free if you like more. 10 out 10 must try again“
“So this is one of those weird places which has two restaurants in one. One is Louisiana famous fried chicks and the second is Afghan kabob house. Both places can definitely hold their own. However, some of the food items aren’t what they seem. We ordered fried chicken, fries and Afghan kabob. Fried chicken was 3.5/5 but the kabob was all the way perfect. From the taste to the quantity, everything was on point with it. Fries were mediocre and cold. We requested newer and they were a bit better the second time around. Service was quite good and friendly. Few times the owner came out checking if all was good. I’d say overall, the food was very good.Btw, best thing about these places, they’re 100% halal. The only downfall is that they don’t have any sauces for the chicken. Who wants their chicken with ketchup right?“
“This has become our go-to spot for burgers.Kids just love the Zinger burger. Tandoori Chicken Alfredo is a good fusion option that the kids like as well. Robo serving orders is a nice touch. The owner is also friendly.Plus points for a space to pray. Will come back again!“
“I love this place but have one very fond memory in particular. When I was a kid I was eating here with my brother and ordered a steak. With in the first 2 minutes I accidentally knocked it on the floor and without hesitation with in a split second the owner told me not to worry and gave me a burger for free. Which is ironic cuz I am now 25 and their bacon cheese burger is still my favorite item“
“Discovered Halal Guys in the original cart at 53rd and 6th, and have been dying to have it again ever since. This location does a great job of bringing these flavors closer to home. The staff here was absolutely delightful and the food delicious. We’ll soon be back for more.“
“Olomi’s Grill in Johns Creek is a hidden gem for Mediterranean halal food. The Kabuli Puluo is a flavorful delight, combining tender meat with aromatic spices. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff add to the overall dining experience, making it a must-try spot.“
