ordered the Ray's Cuban, was nothing but roast port, not much of nothing else. Wife ordered empanada Sampler. Total disappointment. Got two glasses of sangria. Not much sangria but a lot of ice. We have been several times but this was the worst. Not going back for a while. Cuban Diner on Roswell outshines this place.
we used to love papi's & made a special effort to stop and order, but the last few times EVeRYTHING has been ladened with so much salt. maybe they cook that way now in hopes done in guest will order more drinks but.... I surely don't want to waste my money on salt- saturated food. so disappointing because it was one of my favorites & I have recommended it often.
tried it again on Feb 3 & it was just as bad. goodbye pollo vaca frita.
The food here is amazing! I was looking for some yummy Cuban food and this fit the bill! Remind me of Abuelita’s cooking!
