“Do not be deceived by its location. Boasting a very respectable list of beverages, fair prices, and fantastic cigar selection, this place is a must-go for anyone who does not mind a little tobacco. To top things off, the food is well above average. There is an expert for all things on hand, making this establishment equally enjoyable for longtime aficionados and beginners. “My husband and I wanted a romantic little place to celebrate our 24th wedding anniversary and I am so glad we chose Silla Del Toro. We did not have reservations, but they got us seated quickly at the sweetest little table for two. Complimentary champagne to start, then the most delicious selection of tapas, ending with a scrumptious slice of cheesecake and white sangria. The experience was perfect! “I love the creativity of the changing weekly features, especially the wine/cocktail flight with 4 drinks and mini food pairings that change on a weekly basis. It’s one of my top 10 fun and affordable food and beverage experiences in the city, at under $50 per person. Just be aware that if one person gets the pairing flight and the rest order from the regular menu, everyone else may be done with their entire meal before the flight arrives. This has happened to us before. Now we either do it where the whole table gets the flight or nobody does, because it simply doesn’t work from a timing perspective otherwise.Some of the other options are a bit spendy when you add everything up, but the bacon flight is pretty fun! The steak cuts are hit-or-miss; sometimes they are tender but they are often very chewy, especially in the tasting portions. I’m a bit of a steak snob and they don’t really do it for me, but it’s ok. The service is also all over the place. I’m much more of a food person and don’t care if it takes an hour to get our to-go dessert, but some people might. It gets really busy and crowded on weekends!“

“My husband, son and family friends booked a few nights in Atlanta to see a show. What a lovely gift to have such a great bar in the hotel. Kay and Emmanuel were excellent mixologists. They paid us great attention and hipped us to some local places to enjoy. Just the kind of spot you want to land in when traveling.“

“The Spicy Katsu Curry Ramen was my favorite, its not as spicy as I though it would be. The korean fried chicken was so crispy and saucy. The Sakerita's were my favorite. Food came out alot faster then expected. We didn't try any sushi on this visit but will be back to try some rolls next time. Pop in and give it a try we really enjoyed it.“

“This place has the best food. The Torta Cubana is not just the best Cuban sandwich I’ve had, it is one of the best sandwiches ever. Street tacos are simple, yet so good. Very flavorful. They really know how to do it right here. The salsa bar has so many options. I recommend this place to everyone.“

“This is place is wonderful. We started with margarita and an old fashioned with a twist. I got the Red Snapper and shrimp and my husband got the Oxtail. The plantains were delicious.Our waiter, Daniel, was knowledgeable and personable. We also got an espresso and cafe con leche and flan. So good. I think we are going to Cuba for vacation. ;) I can’t believe they have been here for a year and 1/2 this is our first time. Live music 8-11 Fri & Sat. Ven y disfruta!!!“
