“I'm usually very critical of such places but let's be realistic about it, this is an extended dinner with entertainment. It was fine and, in fact, the chicken was surprisingly good. The limited soft drink options was a disappointment and the entertainment was just a family fun time. Overall. a very nice 3 hours (approximately) which was just long enough to not get boring. Well done.“

The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming every single time I come in. The portions are very generous, and they never hold back on the sauces or toppings — which I love! They have such a great variety of fresh toppings to choose from, and everything always tastes super fresh and flavorful.

The food is absolutely incredible, my favorite is definitely the salmon bowl! Every bite is packed with flavor, and you can really tell they care about quality and presentation.

“Visited the Lawrenceville location today and our waiter, Cameron, advised today was that locations last day. It will be used as an event location, but the ponce location will remain open. The food was good and Cameron was very attentive. This is a big non vegan area so to loose an establishment that offers without having to travel all the way to the city, sucks..“

“Very clean and simple layout featuring a sushi bar as you walk in and both indoor and outdoor seating.

We were greeted quickly and shown to a table immediately.

Our complete order ended up being: 2 waters, 1 cold green tea, 5 rolls, 1 Chef's Nigiri, and 2 Green Tea Ice Creams.

We were presented with miso soup to begin, along with kimchi, shredded daikon, marinated broccoli, and pickled onion.

Loved that they gave us soup spoons and chopsticks without the usual fork, knife, and spoon.

For the rolls we ordered Garlic Crunch Roll, Hide and Seek Roll, Mango Tango Roll, Volcano Roll, and Golden Tiger Roll.

Nigiri was fresh and their rice was good.

I don't know where/who they get the green tea ice cream from, but it was the perfect ending for the meal.

Have easily spent the same amount at flashier, popular sushi places and gotten lower quality, so this was a solid homerun in our book.“

“Our experience at Local Republic was so good we went twice during our visit to Lawrenceville. On Saturday we went for an appetizer and drinks. We sat at the bar and our service was fantastic. Her timing was above par! We had the Korean Chicken Wings, boneless wings generously tossed in gochjang sauce. They were so good, I seriously considered ordering again on Sunday just to take home. We had espresso martinis, made with vodka. They were really good and for those of us who are lactose intolerant, they do not contain dairy. We went back on Sunday for their Sunday brunch. Highly recommend! When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the lady who was our bartender on Saturday. She immediately recognized us and welcomed us back. We were seated right away and the server also recognized us, even though he had not waited on us on Saturday. He also provided exceptional service. My husband had the brisket tostada served with a runny egg on top. He really enjoyed it and I had a bite. Definitely something we would order again. I had their shrimp and grits. I am normally not one to eat grits, but these were so good, I couldn’t stop myself. They were served with a tomato sauce the was spicy, andouille sausage and roasted red peppers. It was so good! I can hardly wait to have my leftovers for breakfast tomorrow. Unfortunately, my husband devoured his Brisket Tostada, so no leftovers there. Overall, I cannot recommend Local Republic enough for their exceptional food and service. Their prices are reasonable as well. Our tab on Sunday, which included one more espresso martini, was only $51.“

“Please be careful especially if you are wearing shorts, their chairs have sharp edges. I wore jeans and now my new jeans have 4 different tears in them from the sharp metal edges. I let our waiter know and he got his manager, they decided to put tape on the chair. While I was letting our waiter know the lady beside us also told him about her chair tearing her pants too. This is just a warning because I would hate for a child or someone to get cut or have their clothes ruin from their metal chairs! I do recommend the jalapeno margarita 💚💚“

“We dined here for breakfast on a Sunday morning and the service and food were exceptional. We had the chicken and waffles and a ham and cheese omlette with home fries. Delightful is what it was! Our server (Trey) was phenomenal. He was personable, kind and efficient. All in all everything was wonderful.“

“My family and I had the best time on Saturday night here! We’d never been but were invited to join by a friend who performs there sometimes- lead singer of “The Unknown”! The service was amazing, the jams were jamming!! We went thinking we’d stay an hour and we stayed 4 hours! The drinks were flowing, service was awesome (Go Stretch) and the band made it an entire vibe. We can’t wait to go back next time they perform!“

“Outstanding Food and Overall Experience! - Reservation for 8 to celebrate my youngest daughter's birthday (4:30 on a Friday). We almost changed our mind, because we learned my oldest daughter and her hubby had a bad experience at this restaurant in 2021. So glad we gave it another chance. Restaurant is under new management, and it shows! From the greeters at the door with smiles making a first impression, to a personable, attentive server (LeLe), excellent food and engagement by the manager being visible and interacting with guests - it was well worth our time. Total enjoyment! Our group had the snapper, salmon, shrimp & grits, catfish and one vegetarian who made a meal from the sides. Food was beautifully plated and presented and everything was hot & fresh, well seasoned and tasted great. Generous portions too. We also had the bourbon glazed brussels, skillet cornbread and the sticky ribs as appetizers. HIGHLY recommend the brussels and the ribs!! It was the first day testing the ribs, so you may have to ask for them, if they're not on the menu yet. Appreciated the free birthday dessert! If you had a previous bad experience over the last couple of years, you may want to try again. The cook as well because the food was a 10/10! I travel a county over just to come to this location so its always worth it!“
