“I’ll admit it—I was wrong and a little too judgy.
When someone mentioned Waffle House, my first reaction was, “Hard pass.”
But after a long day of traveling, we found ourselves there around midnight, hungry and tired. To my surprise, the guy working the window was upbeat, super friendly, and gave us some great recommendations. The place was well-lit and welcoming, even at that hour.
We ended up ordering a couple of All-Star combos with grits. And let me tell you—those grits? Better than my grandma’s. God rest her soul, but it’s the truth.
We took the food home and devoured every bite. It was warm, hearty, and exactly what we needed.
Thank you, Waffle House, for feeding my family after a long journey across the country. You’ve earned a fan.“
“Awesome visit on a Sunday afternoon to this Waffle House location. We were greeted upon entering. Our server, Charlie, was extremely kind and helpful. He was patient and attentive. Our order came exactly as requested and we always had our cups filled. The food was very good, fresh and made exactly to order. I would definitely recommend this WH location to anyone in the area or passing through. Thank you!“
“The store was clean inside and out. The parking lot was well lit and we felt safe. We were greeted when we walked through the door and our order was promptly taken. The tables and menus were not sticky and the music wasn't too loud. All three team members looked to be happy to be there. Our food was piping hot (the grits were not lumpy at that time of the evening, yay) and all of the necessary extras (condiments, utensils etc) were in the bag. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I will visit this location again.“
