Island Fire Restaurant is an authentic Jamaican restaurant in Lithonia and a must-try. The food is absolutely incredible, amazing, extremely good, delicious, and full of flavor. It is cooked to perfection, vibrant, bold, and incredibly satisfying. Dishes are rich, comforting, and full of culture. Personal favorites include the curry goat, which is tender and falls off the bone, and the oxtail, which has perfect flavor. The Rasta pasta is creamy and flavorful, and the salmon Rasta pasta is also noted. Other standout items are the goat soup, brown stew chicken, veggie pasta, rice and peas, cabbage, plantains, beef patty, and freshly made pineapple ginger juices. Portions are huge, everything is hot and fresh, and prices are very reasonable.
The customer service is fantastic, top tier, warm, welcoming, and kind. The staff makes you feel like family. It is a family-owned business where the owners are passionate and attentive. The restaurant itself is spotless. This is not just a restaurant but an experience, and it is highly recommended. They also offer catering for special events.
