“This is exactly what I wanted! Brisket that is cooked perfectly without excessive greasiness and tender good. Tried the smoke bologna and that stuff is good too! The collard greens are excellent with a hint of heat. The Mac n’ Cheese is incredible too. This was a great meal at a good price. We will come back when we are in town.“

“We had an EXCEPTIONAL dinner from Shuford's on Saturday night. We called in a huge order about an hour before close and they had everything ready to go. They even were kind enough to help me out to my car! Southern charm and friendliness!
The food was all absolutely delicious and perfect for everyone our group. Worth every penny!“

“My wife and I have eaten at many bbq's around the Chattanooga, Tn area. Big Dan's BBQ is by far the best we have ever had. The pulled pork and chicken is very moist and flavorful. The baked beans are to die for so good! The slaw was also a home run best I have ever eaten. If you want the best get Big Dan's BBQ!“

“Late lunch here and the food was fantastic! Hubby and I both had the Puckett’s BBQ-brisket for me and pork for him. Very tender meat and delicious side-smoked baked beans and potato salad. Friendly server who checked on us regularly. Definitely recommend“

“Definitely a must try of long term staple local restaurants. We ordered in the back at a small building w a walk up window on the back side of the building with the sign on MLK. The woman who took the order was very patient and nice. The woman was super nice and brought us our food to the car when it was ready which I thought was superb customer service. Got a small weenie on chilli plate with Cole slaw and it came w three rolls, hot sauce, and mustard. I ended up making sandwiches out of the contents of the box. Everything was tasty to me except wasn’t a big fan of the slaw taste, it had a very sauer kraut taste to it. Reminded me of Beenie weenies since I had never tried it before. Would like to try their other offerings. For two dinners and a large drink it was $32. Love the location in the heart of the city! Would definitely recommend going and marking it off your bucket list if you haven’t already.“

“We came tonight to see our friend play and we walked out back to smoke and the bartender Colby covered our drinks as we walked outside and in my 37 years (Sunday is my birthday ) I have never had this happen before! Thank god for Colby!! He was wonderful!!!“

“first time here and our server Emily was fabulous from the beginning to the end of our experience, the appetizer was great and our Steaks were cooked to perfection the temp we asked for...be sure to ask for Emily, she will most definitely give you awsome service“

“It's conveniently located in the middle of the route. You can hang out and take pics while you eat. They have an outside bar for the adults, and they have a inside spot for the food. Plenty of outdoor seating take in views. Prices are reasonable.“
