“The owner waited on me. He is so nice and very cheerful. My boss and I had the 1/2 pound hamburger steak with gravy, green beans, the biggest baked potato and it comes with a bottled drink. “First time stopping in on my way to Chester Frost. My whole family loved their meals. The only thing that I didn't particularly love was the okra tasting like it has sugar in the breading. Don't get me wrong, it was still delicious, just wasn't expecting it and personally love it fried in a traditional batter. The girls up front at register were very polite and beamed with a positiveness about them that you don't find often. They had on Christian themed shirts and radiated something Christ-like in their presence. Nice to see young folks like that. Service went smoothly and quickly. Everyone ate everything off their plates. Even had to order coconut cake to go. Haven't found a coconut cake so similar to how my aunt always makes one and it was a nice treat. My husband had meatloaf, okra, cabbage with a corn muffin and I had the fried chicken wings, mashed potatoes, black eyed peas with a corn muffin. Every single thing we ate was the best we have ever tasted!! I couldn’t believe it. Our friend ordered the pork chops and could only eat one so my husband got to eat the other one.
