“I was in for first time on Friday 11/15/2024 approximately 11:00 a.m. this is the best Mexican restaurant I have been to yet and I have been to a lot. The service is wonderful the food is exceptional I suggest the ground beef taco salad it was amazing I couldn't even eat it all I brought it home and I reheated it and it was even better the second and third time. I can't say enough good things about this place you must try it I give it five stars all thru everything“

“Honestly, we eat here so much. Any chance I get to tell people my favorite restaurant, I tell them Chevo’s. I could point to anything on the menu to order and I already know it will be delicious. Everyone working up front is super friendly and are probably sick of seeing us 😂 I would probably eat anything that they would put in front of me. I just know it will be delicious no matter what. I definitely recommend the crab legs, quesadilla sincronizada, or chimichangas. My husband recommends anything with steak.“

“Picked up dinner today at the new location by Publix and it was all very good!! They were extremely nice when I stopped in to order. Very excited to have this so close to home! The Macon special and chicken soup were especially good!!“

“This is a 5 star Mexican restaurant in a 3 star stop and rob - but don't let that stop you from getting some carry out! I heard this place was good and I'm here to tell you it was great. I know it's odd to have such wonderful food at a gas station, but it's true! Chicken/beef/shrimp were quality cuts - not some grislily rubber. Get some!“

“Several good vegan options on the menu and easy to modify other dishes to be vegan. Cashier was thoughtful enough to ask if we were vegan, which we appreciated. The bibimbap with tofu (and no egg) was very tasty. Overall, good, affordable food. Updated from previous review on 2024-12-21“

“Staff was friendly and helpful, also love the salsa bar. Some of the ingredients looked a little dry/overheated, but they likely were about to replace them. The service bar was also a little messy, though I may have visited after a rush. I ordered the burrito bowl with steak, seasoned rice and black beans. It was delicious, just the complete meal I needed after a busy day. Overall, about as expected for Moe's, I ended up getting dinner here a few times on my recent trip to Macon“

“I got two chicken enchiladas and a pork tamale. I have never seen a tamale wrapped in what seems to be seaweed, it’s usually wrapped in a corn husk. Not to mention one of my enchiladas was completely filled up with refried beans instead of chicken. I’m very disappointed and for some reason their phone line is always busy so I can’t get in contact with them to let them know what’s going on. I guess I’m going to have to turn around and drive back up there.

UPDATE: it was banana leaves, not seaweed. It smelled salty and kind of like olives so maybe that's what threw me off. They corrected my order on the spot and were very kind about it.“

“I used to eat here years ago and decided I wanted to come here for my gender reveal June 15th. It hasn’t happened yet but the excitement from the sweet woman on the phone. So accommodating She’s willing to take a very very large party and willing to help decorate and hold my baby’s cake in the fridge. This is good service you guys. I promise the food is amazing and the service is impeccable. Make sure to tip very well when you go. These amazing prices leave plenty of room for good tipping ? I have required my whole party to tip 18% of their check to the restaurant no exceptions. It’s even on their invite ? They have taken care of me so I will take care of them! “We had tacos: steak, pork, and bbq. Very fresh, authentic and tasty, on either flour or corn tortillas. Service was very friendly and prompt. There is an attached grocery store that is packed with items to include a bakery, fresh meat and vegetables. We are looking forward to returning to try other menu items. The menu is quite large and they have daily specials. The place was packed. Prices are reasonable.“
