Papa John's in Macon

“I was very impressed with the cleanliness when I walked in. I was greeted before the door closed behind me. The lady told me what specials were available, I picked one paid and went to Kroger to pick up three things I needed. I went back to Papa John's, was greeted again, and before I got to the counter, the young lady was handing me my pizza. I opened it and it was perfect. Prior to this, I had just left Domino's and stood there at the register for 12 minutes, waiting for someone to take my order, much less give me a greeting. After several employees walked by and one who came to the register just to clock out and go home, I let them win the standoff. I turned to the customer behind me and said good luck, I'm going to Papa John's. From now on, I will go to Papa John's, regardless of the specials Domino's are advertising. Also, this scenario has played out like this many times in the last few years by both parties. I guess you could say I finally learned my lesson.“

“The reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I did experience a slight issue with my order that I normally wud have given a 1 star for but earlier I was able to speak to the manager Clay at around 12pm and he was AWESOME AND AMAZING! He did his job and did it well. He correcting the situation and made me feel like he really cared and also that customers are valued and it was the best experience I’ve had with papa John’s and I really want to say thank u so very much for being so kind and I will continue buying my pizza from there especially knowing that there are still kind and efficient ppl in this world. If he didn’t care , his job was to make me feel like he did and if this was a test— he MORE THAN ACED IT! Ty papa John for hiring Him💛💛💛💛🧡🧡🧡❤️❤️❤️ !! “The pizza is always good. I ordered a Philly cheese steak pizza, a "The Works", and a garden fresh pizza. The philly, although being heartburn in a box, was really good and a fresh change from traditional flavors. The Works is an all around good choice. And the garden fresh was... Fresh? The only thing is there's a bit of a lengthy wait and their delivery areas are rather limited. Overall still worth it, though. 👌“

“The staff here are very energetic professional and friendly! I noticed they have new people and the atmosphere is just overall better than it was a year ago. I have it a second chance and I have to say it was well worth it. Pizza was cooked well and delicious. Thank you!“

“I've had issues with this location in the past, but they were on it today. The gentleman welcomed me in and let me know he'd be with me in a moment. I told him my carryout order name and he took the time to check and make sure all my items were accounted for. Don't know if I just got lucky because he was on the schedule or what but 10/10 service!“

“Delicious. One of those papa John's that knows what it's doing. It seems to be run entirely by a single young blond woman (and a handful of delivery drivers) who I see working tirelessly every time I go to pick up pizza. That being said, she knows what she is doing, she is polite, and the pizza comes out great. Need one ask for more?“
