“Well, this place is undoubtedly a local gem you simply cannot miss.

The name and the small size might be deceiving, but that’s part of its charm. We visited as guests one afternoon, and ever since then... well, what can I say? You just *have* to go. The scones—plus the Guinness Chocolate cake and the carrot cake are, *phew*, absolutely out of this world.

The slices of banana bread and the lemon poppy seed cake aren't overly sweet; they are perfect for pairing with coffee or juice, or just enjoying all on their own... simply delicious.

On weekdays, they are open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., but on Saturdays and Sundays, they put in extra hours, staying open until 7 p.m. at least according to my last visit... which was, uh, yesterday!

So, whether you happen to be in the historic downtown area or not, stop by and prepare to be pleasantly surprised.

A quick tip: don't wait too late in the day to visit, so that there are still plenty of options left for you to try!“

But the addition of vendors right in front of the live music really took away from the enjoyable atmosphere. I wish the vendors had been off to the side, allowing customers to enjoy the music while relaxing with a good brew. (And why are there vendors there anyway? What value do they bring to the venue? They were an unwelcomed distraction.)“

“I can’t recommend Dunc’s enough! They catered an engagement party that I threw for my sister. Planning a party for 50+ people, organizing multiple vendors, and decorating is very stressful, however Dunc’s made it so much easier for me. Steve made the food planning so easy and assured me that they would take care of everything and would be on time. The day of, they called that morning to assure me that they would be on time as well, and confirmed our order to ensure there would be no unexpected hiccups. Steve brought out the food himself, set everything up, and had it perfect for the quest right on time. The food was delicious and all the guests kept asking where I got it from. I will definitely be using them again for my next gathering!“

“The Bays Newnan-The Cellar Newnan are two in the same restaurant. The Bays has a chic, fun, family friendly atmosphere that’s also popular for dates and parties, while The Cellar has a more upscale vibe. Both have delicious food: The Bays has classics like burgers, and fun appetizers. The Cellar has a sophisticated of steaks and such. I cannot make my mind up which I like better! I like that I can choose between two restaurants! My favorite though, is the staff. I’m usually uncomfortable in public if it’s noisy. The staff is so sweet and kind, I forget all about my challenges and relax! Folks! You’ve gotta go & go often!“

“Food was delicious, Our server was Carrie and she was phenomenal. Fabulous service and super patient with all of our questions. We will be back and will request Carrie for sure! Two of us had the Cellar Chophouse Chicken (it was delicious), one person ordered the catfish w/cheese grits, another had a rib eye cooked perfectly. The fried pickles was our starter, sweet with a small hint of spice, like fire and ice pickles if you’ve ever had them, and they, like The Cellar, were a nice treat.“

I wanted to say Thank you to the manager with the red shirt for telling my daughter he loved her purple hair. She has Cancer and is fighting for her life. All the while taking care of her daughter at the children's hospital in Atlanta. She had forgotten something here at home. So we had to come to our favorite place to eat. “We loved dinner. No complaints. Tried brunch and brought friends from church. Definitely someone who has never cooked brunch. Egg benidict was a hard boiled egg, grits were so thick and way to much pepper. Eggs over easy were toast and burned. Service was Marginal. Omelet was also over done. We will continue to dine for dinner but avoid brunch. .“

The place itself is a little small but it’s a nice little restaurant. I also must say, you get your food in a very timely manner. It’s amazing how they cook up such a delicious meal within minutes.
