“Well, this place is undoubtedly a local gem you simply cannot miss.

The name and the small size might be deceiving, but that’s part of its charm. We visited as guests one afternoon, and ever since then... well, what can I say? You just *have* to go. The scones—plus the Guinness Chocolate cake and the carrot cake are, *phew*, absolutely out of this world.

The slices of banana bread and the lemon poppy seed cake aren't overly sweet; they are perfect for pairing with coffee or juice, or just enjoying all on their own... simply delicious.

On weekdays, they are open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., but on Saturdays and Sundays, they put in extra hours, staying open until 7 p.m. at least according to my last visit... which was, uh, yesterday!

So, whether you happen to be in the historic downtown area or not, stop by and prepare to be pleasantly surprised.

“I can’t recommend Dunc’s enough! They catered an engagement party that I threw for my sister. Planning a party for 50+ people, organizing multiple vendors, and decorating is very stressful, however Dunc’s made it so much easier for me. Steve made the food planning so easy and assured me that they would take care of everything and would be on time. The day of, they called that morning to assure me that they would be on time as well, and confirmed our order to ensure there would be no unexpected hiccups. Steve brought out the food himself, set everything up, and had it perfect for the quest right on time. The food was delicious and all the guests kept asking where I got it from. “The Bays Newnan-The Cellar Newnan are two in the same restaurant. The Bays has a chic, fun, family friendly atmosphere that’s also popular for dates and parties, while The Cellar has a more upscale vibe. Both have delicious food: The Bays has classics like burgers, and fun appetizers. The Cellar has a sophisticated of steaks and such. I cannot make my mind up which I like better! I like that I can choose between two restaurants! My favorite though, is the staff. I’m usually uncomfortable in public if it’s noisy. The staff is so sweet and kind, I forget all about my challenges and relax! Folks! You’ve gotta go & go often!“

“We came here for my Birthday. But to start, there may have been a bit of a mix-up on the initial service. We wanted to sit outside, which has different servers in this area from the inside, but we ended up sitting out there over 22 minutes before someone was notified that we needed service (it was actually a customer that notified the restaurant that we needed service). Once that was taken care of, Collins came out and apologized about the mix-up and served us for the rest of the evening. Collins did a great job taking care of my wife , grandchildren, and I. He even help sing Happy Birthday to me 🤓. The food was very good, they service nice size portions of food (see pics below). A manager came out and gave us a discount Happy Birthday/Sorry about the wait Coupon 🎉. Overall, we had a very good time and we will return again.“

I wanted to say Thank you to the manager with the red shirt for telling my daughter he loved her purple hair. She has Cancer and is fighting for her life. All the while taking care of her daughter at the children's hospital in Atlanta. She had forgotten something here at home. So we had to come to our favorite place to eat. Egg benidict was a hard boiled egg, grits were so thick and way to much pepper. Eggs over easy were toast and burned. Service was Marginal. Omelet was also over done. “I can say it’s one of the best Hibachi restaurants around. The food is amazingly delicious and the staff is always ready to serve you. “Just had dinner from Mini Asia last night and it was hands-down the best Chinese takeout I’ve had in years! Everything was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The portions are seriously generous — we had plenty left over for today.

“Stopped in this morning to get my coworkers some breakfast. I’ve had Tim Hortons twice in my life but both times someone brought the breakfast to a meeting so I wasn’t real sure what the menu offered.

I have a coworker with a food allergy and he can only eat certain food. There wasn’t a breakfast option for him, other than pastry’s, and he doesn’t need anything sweet.

The manager on duty went out of her way and made him an off-menu item. She didn’t have to do that but it speaks volumes of her character and willingness to put the customer first.

It was a great gesture that made me a TH fan for life! Also, the food was delicious.“
