“Very disappointed I ordered over $100 worth of food on 9/7 @6:30pm, when I went to pick it up they were CLOSED. No one answered and no one is there. I guess this is why everyone goes to Ikes. Then the owner cas and says we'll have our money back in a few days.I WILL BE GOING TO IKES. THANKS“

“Great food but expensive. You can easy spend $50+ for your main entree and a side. SMH“

“Had their signature amala, and it wasn't up to par. It was lumpy, but still edible. Liked the variety of dishes though, went with a large party that included kids, and everyone was able to order food they wanted. Service was okay, the servers were patient with taking the orders. Don't know if the lumpy amala was a one-off or not.“

“This is some of the best African food I've tasted but the portion size for the price needs revision. I paid $17 for 4 pieces of goat because a few pieces of it was pure bone with no meat and the egusi soup came in a four oz container. It was $47 not including tip and uber fees for a tiny soup four goat pieces fried plantain and a pounded yam on uber eats. Usually when I pay this much I have enough food for breakfast but here I am hungry and looking at my bank debit and having to get Uber eats elsewhere for my breakfast. But the flavor is there.“

“We stopped in on a whim. Never had Nigerian food. Didn't get a heavy meal, but the chicken skewers, plantains and soup were delicious. The Decor is beautiful and Chef Greg was so gracious.“

“I just had my food delivered to me. I usually would order from somewhere else. When I tell you this food is delicious, believe me!! The other restaurant that I normally go to, don’t have that extra hotness to it! The peppers was not overwhelmingly hot. I had the okro pepper soup with fish and a whole fish with seasoned bell peppers, seasoned to perfection! I will be ordering more food!“

“While I'm usually quite particular, I must say the suya and jollof rice were delightful. The service was commendable, the waitresses were bad AF and met all my expectations surprisingly. The hookah surpassed my expectations with its unexpectedly smooth flavor. If you're in Atlanta, it's definitely worth a visit. The ambiance is sexy, and the music creates a great vibe. I'd rate it 10/10.“

“I’ve now been 3x and the food and atmosphere was a hit. The most recent time we went for live music and loved it. It’s an amazing date spot or just to go with a friend. I’ve had something different to eat each time and enjoyed it.
The calypso wings *chef’s kiss*! The lamb chops were tasty. The snapper fish is great if you like a little spice. My husband loved my jollof rice more than his rice and beans. It’s a preference thing because i enjoyed both!
Our service is always A1. The food isn’t fast which is fine because when I
Get it it’s actually hot and tasty.
It’s nice to have a place near home for date nights bc we don’t fancy going to the city for a nice experience.
I’m a fan!
Parking: One time I’ve gone there was valet available but i self parked which i prefer.“

“Very nice place, in my neighborhood so it was very convenient for me. This place was recommended to me by a friend. The place was very neat, organized and they were playing good music. The bartender/host was very pleasant and helpful with menu recommendations. The bartender name started with an 'R', she was extremely helpful.i would highly recommend, The African Grill, great Nigerian food.“

“I had the baleada and yuca. They were both very good. The dining space was very pleasant and clean. We will definitely be back to try more dishes!“
“Came by on a night after shopping with a friend, not expecting much. We were greeted by one lady, going around the kitchen, presumably prepping. The place was empty, a nice, chill vibe. We were given menus and decided to eat fufu & egusi and jolof rice, with 3 flan cakes. Everything was delicious. Authentic food, and it didn't seem like much, but it filled both me and my friend up to perfection. Hot, savory, and plentiful for a takeout order! I could not have asked for a better experience, as the lady there, which I believe was the owner, was running us through the menu as well. Will definitely come again and try more, everything sounded so good!“

“Stumbled upon this restaurant after looking for something nearby that was open late so I could eat and get some work done. It definitely was not a regular restaurant, I think it gave more of a lounge vibe, I got my work done anyway. The food was great. The Braised whole fish was enough for 2 and I ate it all lol. The rice I had was jollof she said, I've had jollof many times and I'm also a Chef, trust me when I say this rice was top tier, not sure if they have it everyday because I saw something else in the other picture reviews. The music definitely made me stay longer than I generally would have at the bar. Congratulations to the restaurant owners on their new journey, you have gained a new customer. Although I'm from the Caribbean, I'm extremely happy to see some more diverse options in this area! God Bless.“

“I briefly visited the place for lunch. Really enjoyed the taste of King fish and Zarruq meat dish with rice. They have a special orange drink which is combination of soda with some spices. I would recommend visiting and enjoying the taste of African food. Staff is nice but environment can be improved.“

“Service is a little slow when I go because I go when they first open up for lunch. The waitresses are absolutely beautiful. I've been going there for a while I really enjoyed it though when the waitresses were actually African. With the young ladies they have there now are absolutely gorgeous. Oh yeah and the food is good too.“
