New American Restaurants near Rex, GA

“I come here all the time but normally during night shift. Today was my first time coming in the daytime and I will never make that mistake again. Food is great I literally just wanted a side of greens but the cook during the daytime barely put any greens in the side sized box and I asked them if you could at least put a scoop more but I was told to pay again. Now what I’m used to is night shift they always fill it up to the brim for me. I will come back but never in the daytime again. I will note before I even paid I wanted to clarify if there was different sizes for greens because that all I came for I really love them plus they’re made with no meat, and I the lady with blonde locs said no and I said okay I just said can you make sure he fills it up at least she said sure. But when I saw the food I was disappointed and cause it wasn’t even filled up half way and I paid 7 dollars. I ate it because that’s what I came for but I’m highly dissatisfied this was the first time I ever been disappointed with them. But I still encourage you to go support the business they’re great people but I just will never come in the day time I again, because at least when I come at night I’m greeted when I come in.“

“I took my husband to Restaurant 356 for his birthday. Our server was Tate and he was so kind and accommodating. He was funny too and made our experience so wonderful. And he wasn't the only one. Every person we encountered was outstanding and even the chef went above and beyond to ensure I could have a wonderful experience despite my food allergies. I could not imagine having a better time elsewhere. We'll be back. The food was excellent as well. Loved it.“

“This has been a neighborhood staple since I was a child. I no longer live in ATL but when I visit and want to go where I grew up, this is a must stop! Quality is still great. The wings are smaller from 2008 but what wing spot hasn't switched to small wings? Did I also mention that the price is very affordable? I got the 10 wing special with fries for only $14!“

Our waitress didn’t ask if we wanted refills on our drinks, she came by once to ask if we were ok, and didn’t return, until we were almost finished with our meals. Our food was served, but we didn’t have utensils to eat with. I won’t return to the restaurant, but I’ll probably door dash bec the food was good.“

“Stopping here was such a treat! First of all, the staff are just so friendly and amazing. They are well trained, but still personable. Everything came out quick, but nothing felt rushed.

I had to try something special, so I got the spicy chicken and waffles and it was amazing. Everything about it was perfect and I loved that I still got pickles with it. Speaking of, the fried pickles are to die for! Crispy but packed with flavor, and the breading doesn’t just come off at the slightly touch.

“It's no longer called 6340 it's now called Fins & Feathers and I've been to it several times sunce the name change.Great environment, atmosphere, the staff is very pleasant, food and drinks are good and also the music be on point. Fins & Feathers is one of my favorite go to spot in Riverdale.“

“First time eating JJs. I've heard so many good things about the restaurant so I had to pay them a visit. The restaurant was nice and clean. The food came out piping hot. It has a decent flavor. The hush puppies were my favorite. I wish my fish and chicken were fried a little harder but the overall taste was pretty good. I would definitely return.“

“I have ordered from her several times. We have tried several things, so here you go: Wings (honey hot are the bomb), beef hot dogs and fries are good. Turkey wings were good but could've been more tender. Cabbage and Mac and cheese (nah, not good) Philly Cheese Steak ( salty as hell) Do Not Try if you have Diabetes. Definitely a waste of money. Cornbread Dressing tasted more like cornbread (says my husband) Her customer service is GREAT!!! She's friendly and understanding. We will definitely order again. “The food I always fresh and hot. Very good on majority of the things I order. The only thing I’m not to crazy about is the catfish fillets. Only because they have the after taste that doesn’t leave a good taste behind. I know catfish is the most commonly fish that’s usually unwanted. Simply because of the slimy texture under the crust when fried, and stringy-ness. The strongest smelling fish as well. But I have came across a couple of seafood restaurants that fry catfish, and it doesn’t have that aftertaste, surprisingly not slimy texture either. But over all I like all their other foods. Especially their Swai fish. Not many restaurants serve Swai fish.“

Location is in the hood but at the same time some of the best damn food is found in the hood.
