Fresh meat products are not always the weight shown on packaging so you're slightly overpaying. Recently purchased hamburger in 3 lb packages at sale price of $3.99/lb. I always weigh out portions before putting them in freezer. I found one 3 lb package to be short by 1 ounce and the other short by 1.15 ounces. I have shopped at Rincon Kroger for twenty years (old and new location). I'm finally ready to drive the extra five min to Publix. Rincon Kroger's shopping carts are the worst you will experience at any grocery store. They are damaged and loud. That is if you can find one because sometimes they are ALL in the parking lot.
