“I rarely review but I felt it necessary to let people in the downtown area to know about this GEM located in the lower level of warehouse row !!! I ate the "Gin's Juicy Burger" all the way. This was by far one of the most delicious burgers I have ever tasted. The bun was toasted, the meat was seasoned (which is a rarity now days) and they were friendly to top it off. It gave me the feel of a down home burger made with love. Keep up the GOOD WORK Petunias.“

“Food is delicious. Once you place your order, I'd say within 10 minutes or less your food is ready. Since I'm a low sodium diet, my favorites are the large hamburgers and grilled chicken sandwiches. My wife is not on a low sodium diet so she can eat anything she wants to. So far her favorites are the large cheese burgers and the salads. She did enjoy the rib plate too.“

“My whole family Looooves MEMOS!!! I can't wait until they open their inside dining room up and start back having live music for customer appreciation! They haven't been a staple in the community for over 50 years for no reason! Great honest respectful family. The 4 generations of Williams' family are all serious about their customer service skills. They teach the children from very young ages about how to treat the customers and it shows! They light up whenever they see us coming and even remember our usual order. The customer service should be studied because they are all naturals! I Would definitely recommend!“

“The food is always fresh & prepared correctly. The employees are very nice people & always super friendly, no matter how busy they are. I highly recommend their pulled pork, fries, cornbread & banana pudding!
My only criticism is- the macaroni needs some improvement. It's not bad, it just tastes like boxed macaroni & doesn't match very well with all the other delicious food.“

Our server Cardigan greeted us at the front.door. She offered suggestions from the menu.as this was our first visit to Clyde's. Everything was over the top!! Texas travelers love Clyde's.“

“I’m a very picky eater and when a friend suggested my husband and I eat at Haven’s with him we agreed. My husband had meatloaf, okra, cabbage with a corn muffin and I had the fried chicken wings, mashed potatoes, black eyed peas with a corn muffin. Every single thing we ate was the best we have ever tasted!! I couldn’t believe it. Our friend ordered the pork chops and could only eat one so my husband got to eat the other one. Seriously, it was hard to leave there with out ordering two or three meals to go. Since we live in Cleveland Haven's will see us at LEAST once a week. The girls there are precious and the food is cooked after you order. Such a Fantastic place!!!“

“the dinner is amazing but the one complaint I have is that even if it's obvious that everyone dining is one family(household) they still force gratuity for parties of 5 or more, but don't increase the amount of meat brought each round. a 20% forced tip for 3 rounds of meat for very clearly 2 parents and their children is a bit unfair. I would have tipped regardless but being forced 20% when our waiter wasn't even really available most of the time isn't right“

“My husband and I absolutely enjoyed our time here today. It wasn’t crowed probably due to it being Christmas Eve but the service was amazing. We really felt welcomed and Amanda our waitress was very attentive, sweet, and took really good care of us. Our food was seasoned to perfection, it was hot and fresh. The sweet tea was southern the way I love it, if you know you know. My husband got the porterhouse steak with green beans and a loaded baked potato. I got the Ribeye with a loaded baked potato and Cesar salad. Definitely would come back again.“
