“Came in for a quick bite after church around 1:30 pm on a Sunday. They were not too busy, the service was great, and I got a cute booth near the window all to myself. The meal was worth it cost wise. I got the seafood fried rice and the shrimps were pretty fresh and juicy. I ate my fill and had a decent to go plate for dinner. The Thai iced tea was delicious and complemented the meal quite nicely. I'd definitely come back!“

“Delicious authentic Vietnamese food. The pork and vegetable banh mi sandwich (#10 on the menu) served on homemade bread was incredible. We also ordered #14 on the menu (their famous Pho) which perfectly complemented the sandwich. The owner was very friendly and personable. “A lovely little soup and sandwich place to hit after a nice brusk walk over at Vickery Creek next door. This place is open only during the day, so if you can, try getting yourself there for lunch. Once done, there is a brewery next door where you could go for a pint if you've decided to take the rest of the afternoon off.The staff are awesome, friendly, and greet you with a smile.Their lunch combo is wholesome and very filling. The value for your money is very good as you get a sandwich, a soup, a bread roll, a drink, a cookie and a fruit. Look for the daily specials as you get into the line to order. There is no set menu, and it changes day to day. “Colonial Kitchen has become a favorite place to dine! Gourmet food at reasonable prices, stylish, cozy ambiance, wonderful patio, excellent service. “The food here was awesome! The crab angels had a ton of filling, the egg rolls were well fried. The cashew but tofu had a really nice sweet and peppery flavor and the green curry was exactly what you think of when you want curry. The menu labeled the cashew nut and green curry as 2/3 spicy level but we didn’t think it was spicy at all. We have a high spice tolerance so we couldn’t have definitely handled a bit more. “Superb meal. Very busy at 6 pm on a Friday night, but the food was so good and tasty and fresh and nicely presented. A slight hiccup with one of the entrees that didn't arrive at the same time as the others, but otherwise good service.“

“I walked in and was greeted with so much love & energy! The young ladies at the front made my day, and answered any questions I had about the food. The owner walked in with the same compassion, and gave me a hug. They don't know how much I needed that! :) But the food was equally heartwarming as the staff. I ordered 1/2 egusi and 1/2 okra soup with pounded yam. Everything was delicious. The soups were not as spicy as I normally like, but luckily they had this delicious pepper sauce that blended perfectly with the dish. If in the area I would come again!“

“I love to try the little hole in the wall places because it's usually the best food. Our server was really good from start to finish. Their salsa had a great flavor and the chips were light but firm. I got the two tacos lunch, chicken and pork. The pork taco was much tastier than the chicken. Overall it was a very good experience and I will stop in when I'm in the area.“

“It's insane it's not 4.8 stars average.Food is CHEAP. I mean a platter is like $11 . You get fries, pita, salad and chicken for $11. I work near here and have tried all the spots and this is my favorite.I get the Greek Salad w/ Chicken 2-3x a week.“

“Might Be The Best Bar in Northern Atlanta Good for a late evening dining. The burgers are always good and you can get them made with beef, chicken or turkey and fixed a variety of ways. They also make a very good bean burger. It's definitely dark and pubby and seems old although it's new. We find the wait staff to be very attentive and pleasant. This is part of a small chain and we find the chef one step up from a sister restaurant. The menu reads like a newspaper and is interesting. Nice people, decent food, stiff drinks, and shots. “Food was really good, ordered the spring rolls and lemon grass beef. Good size portions for the price. They need to update the menu, wanted a dessert they no longer have on the menu. When asked questions on the smoothies, most items were "no longer available". I decided not to order any dessert. Restaurant interior was really nice, I will definitely be back again.“

Though the lights are kinda weird since one side is like neon pink and the other side is regular lights, and i was sitting in the middle of them both. So it kinda make my eyes hurt. “Met a friend for lunch at Hokido yesterday and it was great. They have a large lunch menu. We both had the sashimi bento box and really enjoyed it. A good amount of food for $18. We frequented the sushi place that was in this spot before and I’m so glad Hokido is here to fill the void. Can’t wait to come back to dine at Hokido again!!“

“My husband and I enjoy when we go to Olive garden. The food is always delicious, the service is usually pretty good and the atmosphere is nice.However, on this occasion; the food was still delicious. My husband and I usually share an entree so they split it in half. They serve plenty of food on one late to feed two people sometimes four ? which was cool, we still end up taking leftovers.At the end of dinner, we were ready to go and ordered to dessert using the computer on our table. We specifically say that we wanted dessert to go. Why did our server bring our dessert on the plate?She had to bring us a to-go container and it took much longer than we anticipated. We were ready to leave once you brought the dessert but since you messed up she made us wait longer which was ridiculous.The atmosphere was almost dark. My mom used to say if you eat in the dark, you're eating with the devil. And that felt like we were eating in the dark.Because the food was really good I gave our server 3 stars for the excessive wait and the atmosphere 3 stars because of the darkness.“
