50 Best Taco Restaurants near Sandy Springs

“We were driving through Atlanta on a trip and looking for some good tacos, we found them! We arrived, placed our order, and paid at the little store on top of the hill. I also bought and esquite (corn in a cup) and agua de jamaica (fresh hibiscus water) from a lady with a snack stand outside, it was great. We only waited about 10ish minutes if that before our tacos came out. They have tables and chairs for eating there. We would definitely be back if we lived closer. We will definitely look for this place whenever we drive through Atlanta again! The tacos come with grilled onions, chiles toreados(hot peppers), grilled zucchini squash, and rabanos (radishes). The salsas were also good, our favorite was the red salsa. Try their tacos! ?
P.s.- it was cheap in our opinion, we only paid like $20 for the amount of tacos that would usually cost us $30ish.“

Stopped in to see how a five star taco spot in a gas station could be so good! To my surprise it was! The owner is an incredible person, prices are very fair and the food was amazing. I got the burrito especiale steak 🥩 and it was very flavorful! I had the owner select a menu item for me to try and it was nothing like I have had before! Never even seen this item and unfortunately forgot the name. It was delicious I will be back and back and back again. It’s a must try“

“This place has fabulous food as well as atmosphere. It was 74° outside so we asked to be seated outside where there was a pond to look upon while we ate our lunch. The salsa that came with the chips what's delicious.The service was excellent as well.“

“This was our first time and we will be back! We went for breakfast. We were greeted by the nicest employee who took time to explain the menu. The pancakes were amazing. We also had several of the breakfast tacos and avocado tostadas and the iced coffee horchata - it was all sooo good!!

Dietary restrictions: Some items have peanuts but they are noted and you can leave it out.

Parking: So much parking Sunday morning.

Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. There is a really nice outdoor seating area and courtyard.“

Their team was very easy to communicate with, and they offer a third party delivery service so we were able to have our food delivered/set up at our venue stress free! Our rehearsal dinner was at a local brewery, so their delicious tacos were perfect fit for the event. “Such an iconic modern taco spot. Me and my friends got the Chicken & waffle, Beer battered cauliflower, Quesa birria duo, Slow-roasted angus brisket, Kobe smash burger. My favorites probably slow-roasted angus brisket and beer battered cauliflower, and least favorite is queso birria duo. The chicken and waffle worked surprisingly well, and the Kobe smashed burger taste just like a classic cheeseburger.“

“This little spot is quite good. The surprising part is it is in a gas station. Don't be shocked if you have to wait.For such a small counter serve kiosk, they do a lot of business. “The pastor taco was delicious. The rice is dry but still good. Be prepared to order in Spanish or just point at the menu board. The cashier didn't want to speak English. I speak enough Spanish to order and converse but if you know how to say onion in English, you know the basics. I prefer to speak English but if my client is speaking the most popular language in the world and here in Atlanta, I'm going to speak it. My tacos al carbon (i opted for 1 each chicken, pork belly, steak) was excellent and served Rico style, nice job. Our groups other dishes were also quite good with good flavors and nice portions. Even at max capacity, the service was good with a only a minimum wait for the excellent cocktails. Of note the bathrooms were exceptionally clean for such a busy place so kudos to the staff. Fair prices relative to the location. Expect a fair wait for large groups (notification via text/sms). Recommend for the Battery area.“

“My first time here and I loved it. Employees were great and the food was delicious. The margarita was top of the line. I don't have not one complaint about this place. So you like Mexican food I suggest you stop by and enjoy.

“Most reasonably priced tacos in the area in my opinion. Most are about $4, so you can eat here for like $15 or less. Love the fried chicken and Memphis tacos. The trio is always a must. Their cheese dip is so good. It’s thinner and a tiny bit spicy. Their chips are thin and crispy too. The employees are really nice and food comes out fast. House marg and frozen margs are both yummy. Beware of a reallyyyy long line on nice nights. We try to get there before 6 to try to avoid the long line.

Parking: Free parking lot but spots are tight and it fills up quick, even though there’s a lot of spots“
