Husk Savannah offers a memorable dining experience with unique flavors and a warm atmosphere. The restaurant is located in a beautiful house built in the 1800s, with a grand yet simple design. It serves a variety of dishes, including the country ham appetizer and pork tenderloin, along with rotating menu options that highlight seasonal ingredients. Guests can enjoy well-prepared dishes like North Carolina striped bass, praised for its fresh taste and crispy skin, as well as the lady Edison ham and white lily biscuits, which are known for their delicious and fluffy texture.
The restaurant features a large, beautifully lit bar and a cozy interior with well-decorated rooms. The service is attentive and friendly, with staff helping guests choose wine and dishes. The seating is thoughtfully arranged, creating a relaxed environment perfect for conversation. The ambiance is quiet enough for easy chatting, making for a pleasant dining experience. Desserts such as blueberry bread pudding with ice cream are highly recommended, and the happy hour cocktails are worth trying. The restaurant’s atmosphere and food make it a top choice for those seeking southern specialties and friendly hospitality. Reservations are recommended, especially during busy times like brunch. Overall, Husk Savannah is a charming place with excellent food, ideal for a special night out.
