Pacci Italian Kitchen + Bar Reviews
The flounder was soaked in raw onions and red sauce on a soggy piece of bread. The baked ricotta came with one slice of bread.. The bartender was not very professional. All in all not a good experience .
I reeeeaaallly wanted to like this place since I am local and have heard some good things about it. We are always looking for a good brunch place to visit on Sundays. I’m not sure if maybe the restaurant was having an off day this past Sunday, but I can honestly say that the food was terrible. There was not one dish that was passable. Pacci Italian Kitchen + Bar offers a variety of Italian dishes at reasonable prices. The bread and butter are highly praised by customers, and the food is fun, interesting, and very tasty. While some items may be unavailable at times, the overall meals are satisfying. The cocktails are top-notch, and the ambiance with live music creates a great atmosphere. However, the service can be inconsistent, with some experiences involving slow service and oversalted meals, while others have been enjoyable with fast and attentive service.
The restaurant has a somewhat limited menu, but the food is generally good. Customers have highlighted the peach salad, especially the peach burrata salad, and risotto as standout dishes. The gluten-free lentil Bolognese has also received positive feedback for its unique flavor. The breakfast menu provides more options and has received praise, particularly for the crabcake Benedict, which has been noted for its high-quality ingredients.
While the service is often praised, with servers being attentive and accommodating, there have been mentions of noise levels increasing, especially when large groups are present. The restaurant has addressed this by relocating diners to quieter areas. Additionally, the wine selection, particularly from the Italy region, could be expanded to better cater to the Italian-focused cuisine. Overall, Pacci remains a spot of high quality and a great dining experience.
