We visited this restaurant for my birthday dinner and it was delicious! As a vegan, it isn’t easy to find a really nice restaurant that focuses on a complete entree choice for vegan customers. The ambience is lovely and everything we tried was delicious. I enjoy local restaurants and hope to see this restaurant doing well as more people discover it.

Silk Route Restaurant and Lounge is a lovely restaurant with great service and a friendly, welcoming house. The atmosphere is beaming with a chill vibe, beautiful decor, and dim, romantic lighting. On Saturdays, there is live music.
The food is delicious and amazingly prepared, beautifully presented, and keeps guests coming back. The fare is a blend of Asian, Indian, Mediterranean, and Persian. The menu has lots of tasty choices, including chicken, lamb, beef, fish, and vegan or vegetarian options. Specific dishes enjoyed include the miso chicken, honey ribs, cauliflower steak, a delightful date fruit dish, a pork side belly story with rice and greens featuring crunchy pork belly and tender meat, and the mandarin olive oil cake. They can accommodate requests, such as creating a kids menu.
The cocktails are incredible and they have a good wine list. The staff is super friendly, warm, and accommodating, even for large parties on short notice. It is a highly recommended spot and a welcome addition to the Savannah dining scene.
