Smokey's BBQ Reviews
Kind of a "hole in the wall" and by any means is that a bad thing but as we know these places always have the best food. Smokey's in Garden City and in my opinion has the best ribs ever. I also buy their sauce in jars I told her she should market it I have been going here at least 10 years. Tammy the owner is one of the best humans I've ever met, I got real sick a few years ago came in one day and couldn't hardly walk she gave me a hug and offered to take me to the doctor anytime...read full review
Great and authentic BBQ with great southern side dishes.
It was an excellent dining experience contrary to the reviews that I read prior to going to the restaurant. The potato salad was good and the baked beans were better than any barbecue restaurant beans I’d had before . The best bbq sauce is the hotn mild mixed. If you want a good drink order the Arnold Palmer. Tammy is on her game .

Smokey's BBQ is a small trailer on a corner lot that serves up decent barbecue. The place has a friendly, welcoming atmosphere with a nice BBQ shack feel. The staff, including a young lady with red dreadlocks and some older ladies, are attentive and kind. Customers often praise the delicious ribs and stew, calling them some of the best they have ever had, and appreciate the care taken in preparing the food. The menu features pulled pork, beef brisket, and chicken, with the chicken being a highlight, served in a box with bread and bones. The green beans are a standout side, while the greens lack flavor. Customers enjoy ordering by ringing the bell, and many plan to return soon. The owner, Tammy, is known for her kindness and faith, often going out of her way to help customers. While the prices may be a bit steep, the food quality and friendly service make Smokey's BBQ a good stop for barbecue lovers, especially those who value a cozy, hole-in-the-wall spot. Limited parking is available, and vegetarian options include vegan ice tea. Overall, Smokey's BBQ offers a tasty, welcoming experience with some of the best ribs and a caring atmosphere.
