“It was almost closing time, but we like to try the Mom and Pop places when we can. So we pulled thinking we might have missed lunch but there is nothing like asking. We were greeted immediately, offered a table inside(chairs were already up). BBQ baked potato and coleslaw for me and 1/2 lb pulled pork, Brunswick stew and coleslaw for my husband. We enjoy a good sticky BBQ from our neck of the woods,so this was a little different for us. It was all quite tasty,signed our name on the wall,thanked the friendly staff and took a few ribs for the road. Now home with our ribs,we realized we missed the good stuff.... the RIBS! Melt in your mouth,😋 cooked and seasoned to perfection with a rub unique to Hopeyoulikit. Thank you for your generosity,courtesy, and friendly atmosphere.... we will be back,the good Lord willing.“

“Vandys is a little spot off vine st, but now, a big spot in my belly. Walking through the parking lot, the smell hits you immediately from the put smoker, and your mouth begins to water. All of the staff are super friendly and the place is rather clean. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with some coleslaw, and my daughter had the half pit smoked chicken with some fries and the mac and cheese. Everything was cooked to perfection. The food came out quickly. Also, the prices were perfect. Two dinners for 28 dollars.
I am happy with my experience at Vandys.“

“Even though the atmosphere was not what I would have liked….the manager Greg Humphrey made it right! They were doing some kind of repairs (behind my seat) that were very loud and vibrated my booth seat. Of course I didn’t complain because that’s not who I am. At the end of the meal Mr. Humphrey gave us a free dessert and 25% off our bill for the atmosphere not being conducive to a good dining experience. Also, the steak was so tender and the sweet potato was cooked perfectly. I’ll definitely be going back to Longhorn in Statesboro.“

“He was awesome to work with and went above and beyond to make ADPi’s family weekend a success! He took a lot of stress off my daughter and I who were in charge of the weekend event . The food at the tailgate party and the Sunday brunch was delicious… especially his Mac-n-Cheese! You will not be sorry if you book him !“

“Saturday, July 20, my family reserved a banquet room at Shug’s Barbecue Place for a meal and gathering of sixty guests after my brother’s funeral. It was an excellent experience! The tables were dressed with white tablecloths, the abundant buffet was filled with delicious hot food and the service was great. I’ve told everyone that it was the perfect place for such an event, it was just like going to Mother’s for dinner after church. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
