“I needed a last-minute cake, something special, and most bakeries close early. So I headed over to the Queen of Sheba, which google maps promised would have cakes until 8. But they didn't have the flavor requested! Disaster. A customer said tiramisu was a house specialty, and the young lady behind the counter agreed that it was her favorite. Even though tiramisu is a gamble with a new crowd, I went for it. It was one of the most delicious, perfect cakes I've ever had. That any of us had ever had. It's what all other tiramisu wishes it could be. Good price, too. I 100% will get my next cake there.“

“We ordered a vegan wedding cake for our reception from VTasteCakes and we could not have been more happy with the end result.
For the tasting, we were given 4 combinations of cake and frosting along with 3 fillings. We went with the vanilla bean, champagne soak with seasonal berries and it was incredible.
Jasmyn Daniels on the Wedding Team helped coordinate everything from delivery, design incorporating real flowers, and adding our custom national park themed topper with mini-ceramic rabbit.
Everyone loved the cake and it more than fed our wedding party. We had one guest who discovered recently they had an egg allergy, so the fact that he could have dessert with an allergen-safe cake was such a wonderful experience.
We can't recommend VTasteCakes highly enough. Both the experience working with them and final cake were excellent.“

“The quality of the dessert here is incredible. My wife and I had our wedding catered by Chef TaWanna Ray and the sweets were a big hit! The wedding cake was elegant and delicious. We'll be using her for birthdays and other celebrations in the future!“
“Cakes By The Pound and More will be my go to bakery going forward! She was professional, delivered on time and was so easy to work with. The cake delivered on design and taste! My daughter didn't think the cake was real because of how great it looked. My family and friends are really judgmental and they LOVED the french vanilla cake. Normally pretty cakes are dry and not edible. This cake was moist (and the layers were thick). I'm also not a big fan of fondant but this is the best tasting one I've ever had.“

“Loved the two cakes Kaye baked for us! I needed a 1st birthday cake for my daughter and 30th birthday cake for my husband with only two days notice but she really pulled through for us! Fantastic communication, very flexible yet professional AND her cakes were gorgeous! I was sooo happy with them and would highly recommend her. “Had the best first time experience with Jasmin and Helen !!! So professional, knowledgeable and polite. I asked a lot of questions since it was my first time and they were so pleasant!!!! That was the best ice cream ever . I have a ColdStone that is 10 minutes away but they were so rude I left and this location is about 30 minutes away from me and I would travel back! Amazing job with the hiring! Thank you Helen and Jamin for being absolutely amazing! Y’all exceeded my expectations on service!!!!!!“

“Overall I love this Location because it's the only one with Praline Pecan. I wanted to try the mixed berry cheese cake but you don't have it. So I ordered my favorite unfortunately I was given White Turtle instead. A Praline Pecan person knows the difference. Sure it was not intended.“

“We had an amazing baby shower cake made by Tora and it was a total hit for our guest! The cake was super cute and matched our themed beautifully and tasted wonderful!!! We will be calling her again in the future for our cake needs :)“
