“Probably one of the best Mexican restaurant that I’ve been to so far in Atlanta! The atmosphere is amazing too, very vibrant and full of beautiful arts on the wall. The chicken fajita is really good, has a nice char flavor and is very juicy and tender“
“Tried Raul's Latin Kitchen for the first time and I am soooo glad I did, the best Latino cuisine flavor I have ever tasted in my entire life and i am Dominican!!Raul, may God continue to bless your talents and your business, you are extraordinary!!!??“
“I had a sample one day and was shocked how good it was. Piping hot, and a burst of roasted flavor. I came back and got a while chicken to go, and it was fast. I had a few pieces right away, which were not as hot, but still tasty. Air fried, it's still quite delicious. I'll definitely be back for that roasted flavor, though I hope I can get it fresh and hot like the first time!“
“The Pupusas are amazing!! The ladies who work here are also amazing and very sweet. We’ve been looking for a place to get Pupusas from for a while our Spanish is not very good so we’ve been trying to find a place that speaks English as well and they do. 100% recommended from me and my family.Parking: Plenty of parking available!!Kid-friendliness: The ladies there loved my daughter so much and all wanted to take turns holding her. So I would say kid friendly lol.“
“WOW!!!! 5-STAR FOOD!!! Absolutely delicious, It was my first time eating food from there but won't be the last. Perfectly seasoned meat, the rice, the beans and sweet plantains, all of it, cooked to perfection. They even serve Jupiña which is the only fruit flavored soda I'd ever recommend. I ordered take out but upon walking into the restaurant it was clean, the staff were very inviting and the place looked like a very well managed establishment. Not only would I recommend but I will be back soon.“
“Food is great for who is looking for an original churrasco from Argentina or Uruguay. If you do not eat certain parts of it, they are willing to change it.Service is really good too. One or another server might not be the totally fluent in English but they handle it super well and compensate with a good sense of humor and attention.Atmosphere is really casual.“
“Last weekend we ordered delivery because we were being lazy and didn't want to get in the cold. Looking for something new, we ran across D'Cuban Cafe in our "Want to Try" bookmarks. The dishes we ordered were packaged well for delivery and it all was hot and fresh. Often fried foods end up a bit soggy when ordered via delivery, but these were not. My favorite was the fried plantains with rice, beans, and ropa vieja beef. The garlic cilantro sauce was so good, we'll definitely order extra next time!! To get a sampling of the "sides" we opted for the Cuban Sampler. It came with an empanada (we didn't get to choose the filling and were hoping for chicken but got beef/picadillo), fried yuca, papa rellena (a bit bland), ham croquette (hubby liked this, I wasn't a fan), and sweet plantains. We also ordered a guava pastelito to share (delicious but kind of skimpy on the filling). Last but not least we shared a cuban sandwich...you can't try a 'new to you' cuban restaurant without checking out the Cuban. It was much larger than we were expecting (nice!) and had good flavor. We thought it would probably be much better if we were eating it fresh from the restaurant instead of a bit smooshed from delivery.“
“Stop by for lunch for the first I loved it. I was shocked to find to see this establishment has a nice bar area as well with garage doors that let up for a cool breeze to enter the building. The food was made to perfection and I don't remember the what I ordered lol“
“I have been to this location on plenty occasions but this was my most enjoyable experience. The food was delicious as usual, and the service was excellent. I ordered the lobster and shrimp linguine. Mrs. Loretta was an absolute delight as our server, and I would come back just for her amazing energy. Everyone was great.“
“Amazing food and great music, found it during my road trip back home and definitely didn't disappoint. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for good authentic Guatemalan food. To do estuvo estupendo me encanto todo la comida y buena música. Se lo recomiendo a todos lo que buscan comida auténtica Guatemalteca“
“I am Peruvian, and I wanted to get real Peruvian pollo a la brasa and I was surprised when I went to Las brasas last year and it was delicious, even better than some pollerías on Perú! So i went again a few days ago and it was still as good! You have to try it! And the prices are very good! The service was good as well. I love it ❤️“
“I LOVE to travel and because of this I have been fortunate to visit many great places. My main love of travel is for two reasons: A) for the scenery/architecture and B) for the culture/food. In my travels I've had the privilege of visiting Guatemala twice. I was blessed to have home-cooked meals by locals all throughout the city. Prior to visiting Guatemala I had no idea there were so many variations of Latin foods between Central-American cultures and it was there I had an eye-opening experience with tamales. Guatemalans make their tamales a lot different than the Mexican style tamales I was familiar with eating most of my life. Their tamales were a lot fatter and far moister than Mexican tamales and the masa is softer. I instantly fell in love with the difference, especially after having eaten many overcooked & hard Mexican tamales in my lifetime. So you can't imagine how delighted I was to discover the Salvadoran tamales here @ Star Bakery are similar to Guatemalan tamales. [ THE FOOD ] After my first taste I returned 3 days in a row because I just couldn't get enough of the amazing flavor! Moist, fluffy, flavorful masa wrapped around juicy & oh so tender chicken. The ladies here truly have magic in their fingers, because it's not just the softness of the masa. I hear chicken bouillon is traditional in seasoning the cornmeal used to make the masa, which would explain why it had such a satisfying aftertaste. I also enjoy their Carne Guisada and delicious Fresas con Crema, but was not a fan of the Baleadas. Something about it tasted sour, almost spoiled. My favorite combination is an order of their Corn Tamales paired with the Grilled Steak next door @ Villino's. I ate them together as if they were steak tamales. The two flavors combined are enough to inspire an epic happy dance! On my latest visit I tried the Pupusas after two other customers in line convinced me I needed this in my life. They both recommended the Chicharron con Queso but I was more interested in the Cameron con Queso, so I ordered one of each. Both were great, but that dang Chicharron was AHHHH-mazing and exploded with flavor! They were absolutely right! * Elote Tamales (5 stars) * Pollo Tamales (5 stars) * Carne Guisada (4.5 stars) * Fresas con Crema (5 stars) * Baleadas (1 star) I think I just got a bad one! * Cameron con Queso (4.5 stars) * Chicharron con Queso (5 stars) [ FINAL THOUGHT ] Take a drive to Plaza Las Americas, casually meander to the food court in the rear and treat yourself to some of the best chicken tamales north of Central America. But don't be in too much of a rush because they take a little time to prepare. If you've ever traveled South of Mexico and sampled these amazing tamales, I think you will agree with me on their authenticity and deliciousness. BUEN PROVECHO! 2022 / 82“
“Very clean establishment and really kind staff. Especially since we had a language barrier with our server but she went out of her way multiple times to make sure that we understood. We enjoy trying foods from other cultures and their food was pretty good. We had a burrito and I believe tortas? We both liked that the best! They have a small wall with gift shop/convenience items and plenty of drinks for purchase. Gratuity is already included in the purchase (at least for dine in) and it was just two of us. They have a food truck too that we forgot to inquire about but overall we had a very pleasant time.“
“I was super impressed with the atmosphere, we were consistently checked on, we went for drinks and to listen to the live band! Overall.. so beautiful to see everyone vibing! Great drinks, incredible music..! Staff was very sweet and professional! I'm going back next weekend!“
“I recently ordered Mojarra Frita to go from a Salvadorian restaurant, and it was a delightful experience. The crispy fried fish was perfectly seasoned, and the golden exterior gave a satisfying crunch with every bite. The dish was served with a side of fresh salsa and tangy pickled vegetables, adding a burst of flavor to complement the fish. The portion size was generous, making it a great value for the price. Overall, Mojarra Frita is a must-try for anyone looking to savor authentic Salvadorian cuisine, and this takeout version did not disappoint.“
“We made a last minute reservation for 8 people. Michaela (sp?) and the whole staff were amazing. Everything we ordered (and it was a lot, like CVS receipt a lot) was excellent. The guest musician even sang happy birthday to the bday people. It was just such a great experience. Felt at home. 5 stars.“
“We saw their delivery truck covered in photos of their yummy food and decided to follow it back to the restaurant. Best decision we ever made! The food was sooooo flavorful and authentic! My boyfriend has the fajitas and I had churassco. It was amazing. Our waitress was also so sweet and kind. I highly recommend coming to this hidden gem.“
“I order on uber eats - best Peruvian food I've tasted in gwinnett County! I'm new to Georgia and it's been hard to find a Peruvian restaurant that's as good as back home (I've tried at least 3 in the Norcross area) and I've found it! Will be ordering again and again! ❤“
“The food is always fresh . I’ve been here a few times in the past 2 months and if you haven’t tried this spot , you’re missing out . The arepas are delicious and super big . The burgers are enormous and exploding with flavor . I highly recommend the Hamburguesa Caraqueña . 15/10 . The place is always clean and the ladies at the front are always very polite . This is a Hidden gem in Lilburn .“
“Guatemalan Chorizo is the ++ and lunch is great, good price as well. No doubt is one of my favorites places...never taste before Guatemalan food but is too similar to Mexican just less ? so this is a good option to everyone, even kids. Sweet bread is not the best but cake is good. And you can drink coffee ☕ too.“

“I had the tamales and I have to say, they were truly the best tamales I have ever eaten. The service was helpful and friendly, overall excellent, but nothing can compare to how good the food was. I will return and HIGHLY recommend. I must see if you are trying out places on Buford Highway.“
“I’m Peruvian, born and raised. From there I moved to Miami, which arguably has the best Peruvian food outside of Peru. I know when a place is going to be solid just from the pictures alone. Screw the reviews. I have lived in Atlanta for the last 3.5 years and couldn’t find a restaurant that tasted remotely like home. For the first time since moving to atlanta I found my Pollería de vecindario. We ordered half a pollo with fries and salad and a jalea mixta (fried seafood). We wanted to order the picarones too but it was a big portion and with a heavy heart, we left without them… this time ?. We drove 25 minutes from East Atlanta (albeit with no traffic) each way and plan to do so again regularly.I’m a little confused as to the bad reviews for service. Karina, our server, was kind, friendly, prompt and attentive. Everyone working there was. I think people have to remember this is a pollería. It’s not an easy business to run. Be kind to the staff, they’re busy and trying. As a Peruvian to anyone in Atlanta who might be curious to try something new — do NOT sleep on this place. It’s seriously delicious. Some things worth noting is they do not have a liquor license. Perhaps it’s worth calling ahead of time if they allow BYOB.“
“This small Colombian bakery is a true delight for the senses. From their mouthwatering empanadas to the refreshing taste of their fresh orange juice, every bite is a heavenly experience. The moment you step inside, you're greeted with warm smiles and a friendly atmosphere. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to your visit. The music playing in the background creates a fantastic ambiance, making it a joy to savor every morsel.Every item I sampled was nothing short of exceptional. The empanadas were perfectly seasoned, with a crisp, golden crust and a deliciously savory filling. Paired with their fresh orange juice, it was a match made in culinary heaven. Each bite burst with flavors that transported me to the vibrant streets of Colombia. What truly impressed me was the undeniable freshness of everything I tasted. It was evident that the bakery takes great pride in using high-quality ingredients and preparing their offerings with care. The result is an explosion of flavors that taste as though they were prepared just moments ago.If you're seeking an authentic Colombian culinary experience, look no further than this charming bakery. The combination of delicious empanadas, refreshing orange juice, friendly staff, and inviting ambiance makes it an absolute must-visit. Prepare to indulge in a taste sensation that will leave you craving for more!In summary, this small Colombian bakery has stolen my heart with its delectable offerings, fresh flavors, and welcoming atmosphere. It's a place where culinary delights and friendly vibes come together to create an unforgettable experience. Don't miss out on the chance to treat your taste buds to something truly extraordinary!“
“When I tell you this food was AMAZING, please believe me! My boyfriend and I went here last night for a late night bite (their late hours are a plus!) and we were not disappointed! Simon helped us, he was great; answered all our questions and was very nice. My boyfriend got the chicken chimi sandwich, and he literally made some kind of noise after every bite lol. I got steak tacos, and we both got an assortment of empanadas, which were all also amazing. No complaints on anything. This place is definitely going into our rotation of local faves. I wish I had taken a picture but once we had those first bites, it was over from there.“
“I'm surprised there wasn't a single Yelp review for N3dos until Tom E's FTR (First to Review) in November 2020. This Caribbean restaurant and lounge - Dominican food to be specific - opened in 2018. The food we had hit the spot. It was fresh and tasty, cooked and packed to order. For a place that's primarily a Latin nightclub, our Sunday lunch on the patio here was surprisingly delicious. N3dos is located on Buford Highway OTP (outside the perimeter) in the former Shooter Alley building: The shopping center it's located in, Treasure Village, has cleaned up in recent years. Gone is Shooter Alley, the sketchy spa, and Buford Hwy Twin Cinema: N3dos renovated and opened up the old Shooter Alley space. It now features a long bar with TVs, elevated booths, tall tables, lounge seating, a DJ stage, and a game nook with gambling machines. They also added lots of windows to let some natural light in. Due to the currently raging COVID-19 pandemic, we dined outside on the makeshift parking lot patio. It's amazing how many tables you can fit onto three parking spots. The outdoor patio was enclosed with cinder blocks and wooden beams. The tables weren't exactly level, but that was OK. At least the furniture was in good condition and looked clean. When I called N3dos before our visit to confirm outside seating, the lady who answered told me that outside seating availability is subject to the staff and volume during each particular shift. Weekends are busier than weekdays and outside seating is more likely during weekends. Also, I was told only two servers work per shift. The patio is completely uncovered so it's also available weather-permitting. During our extended lunch stay from about 12:00-2:30pm on a Sunday, we were the only walk-up "dine-in" customers. I noticed one pick-up takeout customer and another solo customer enter the building. When we visited, there were no other customers and we saw only three workers inside: a man and woman up front (the latter took our order) and an older lady in the kitchen. There was a language barrier, but we were able to order successfully. I discerned that the entire menu wasn't available during the daytime, but instead at night, which was understandable given the bulk of their business is in the evenings. Our server, Katherine, immediately directed us to several specific items on the menu. The menu was spiral-bound, laminated, sturdy, and colorful, filled with helpful pictures and descriptions in both English and Spanish. She pointed out a few chicken dishes, but when I asked her about other dishes, she also suggested beef. Note: Katherine said if we wanted true dine-in service, we had to eat inside. If we wanted to eat outside, we had to order to-go. Our food was served in disposable containers -- aluminum foil plates with paper tops, plastic bowls with snap-shut lids, and flimsy foam boxes. Menu items were affordably-priced with most entrees, except for the seafood entrees, under $15 each. Entree categories included salad, soup, sandwiches, Mexican, Dominican, chicken, steak & pork, stew, pasta, and seafood. Examples included menudo (tripe soup, small $6.95, large $10.95), a Cuban sandwich ($8.95), churrasco (grilled beef with chimichurri, $18.95), and a two-person paella (Spanish rice with mixed seafood, $40.95). They had a variety of apps and sides too. Examples included picadera (small $12.95, large $21.95) which is an assortment platter of party/finger foods, ideal for the club environment, and pastelitos rellenos (savory chicken and beef pastries, $4.95 per order). I didn't ask for or see a drink menu, but it's safe to say they have a full bar. After a little back and forth with the server, we settled on a few dishes: * Rabo Guisado ($13.50) - stewed oxtail * Bistec al Caballo ($14.00) - steak and eggs * Tostones ($3.50) - fried green plantains * Nestle Pure Life bottled water ($2.00 each) We received more food than we were expecting because each entree came with a *generous* portion of white rice and red beans and a sal“
“I miss new York so much and being Puerto Rican I miss Spanish food. Although this cuisine is Dominican, it gives me authentic vibes. The people are nice and I've visited the location as well as gotten food ordered. I am always pleased. I am thinking of going tomorrow in fact. The prices are good and portions are amazing. I love to get a variety and when I leave I always get a to go plate“
“Stopped in briefly for a margarita & tacos! Sat at the bar, service was quick & the carne asada tacos were very tasty! I’d definitely go back when I’m in that area of town. It’s a very large venue I believe they have live concerts & there was a live DJ that afternoon and the place has lots of pool tables as well.“
“My family and I were in Atlanta visiting and came here for dinner. I wasn't sure if it would be good, but we was pleasantly surprised. Everything (carne asada, cerdo asado and filete de pescado) we ordered was absolutely delicious. The waitresses were all great. Super nice and attentive, which I appreciate very much.“
“I never actually been to this restaurant in person, but whenever I don’t feel like cooking, but want something that taste like home I order from these guys! If you are from Latin America, the Caribbean, New York, or Miami, you’re gonna love this place! Such a blessing because their prices are so reasonable and their food is QUALITY! Having their food makes me believe that a lot of the other restaurants are Price gouging, because these guys are so reasonably priced for delicious fresh quality food!“
“Authentic Colombian food The food is really tasty , The restaurant just recently renovated . “I've driven by and the place always looks empty but while craving Dominican food this place was open and it had ox tail. Going in, the place was big and clean but empty. Nonetheless, we sat down and our waitress, who was super sweet, came and offered 2 menus. One is a Dominican menu and one is a Honduran one. My mother ordered a Dominican dish, oxtail, and I ordered a Honduran one with plantains. I was not a fan of the sauce on my dish but overall, the dishes were really good and the portions were large. My father is a picky eater but he really enjoyed the dish we took him so I take it as a good sign This is one of those places I would go back to.“
“This is a great spot! Very nice and friendly staff, very clean and plenty of space on the inside. They have big screen tvs strategically placed so you can see from anywhere you sit. They have booths on the perimeter and tables down the middle. Just a really nice place with a good staff, clean, really good food and good prices. Placed a to go order and they had it ready very quickly and it was delicious.Kid-friendliness: Very sweet to my daughter while we were placing our to go order.“
“I stopped by to get some lunch and it was delicious!! I got a flavorful beef panty, a delicious smoothie and a plate of Jerk chicken. I love the mild jerk and Henny BBQ sauce on the chicken. It was flavorful and not overly spicy, but still had a kick like I like! The macaroni and cheese compliments the cabbage so make sure you add that on! Y’all keep up the great work!“
