Ordered a cake for my sons first birthday. The process went smoothly until I inquired about the smash cake. I’ve ordered first birthday cakes in the past both for professional bakers and Local supermarket bakery’s. It’s been my experience that the smash cake for the one-year-old is usually complementary. I had my daughters graduation cookies made here and they were amazing! The icing was exactly like we discussed and done phenomenally well! The taste? They were some of the best sugar cookies I’ve had! My guests were raving about them.
I will be using It’s a Sweet Life for future events!
You will love the treats at this sweet bakery! The frosting is so buttery and delicious...and the cakes are BEAUTIFUL (and yummy!)!

At The Atlanta Wedding Extravaganza, they found the bakery and were happy to have It’s a Sweet Life be a part of their special day. They used this bakery for their wedding and got two cakes. The tasting experience was amazing, done in the comfort of their own home. Every flavor they tried, they liked and were quite happy. They got a wedding cake and a groomsman cake, both exquisite. The groomsman cake was a detailed Lord of the Rings book that tasted stunning. Guests had compliments on the taste of the different flavored tiers of the wedding cake. The tasting was superb, with five large cupcake-size cakes, each a different flavor and filling/frosting. The Bourbon Caramel Cream on chocolate was decadent. The Almond cake with cookies and cream filling was stunning. Guests loved the lemon flavor, shocked by its lightness and fresh lemony flavor, well-balanced. The stained glass floral cake design was magnificent, with artistic talent. They were in love with the Chocolate with Bourbon Caramel Cream. They selected almond cake with cookies and cream filling, Red velvet with cream cheese, and chocolate with bourbon caramel cream. Delivery was wonderful, with no issues. They set up the cake with all their toppers.
