“My husband and I are delighted to find this little gem within walking distance from our home. We ordered Pad Thai with shrimp and Pad Me Ew with pork and both were delicious. The shrimp was a little tough but still quite good. I give 4.5 stars for food and for extremely attentive and friendly wait staff. We will be back to try the hibachi soon.“

“I've been on a quest to find good Chinese food in the Buford area for awhile. The other night I had the pleasure of enjoying a meal at Sunshine Chinese. I was very pleased with the food and the service. Had the opportunity meet the owner and his brother and it was amazing to watch them interact with the continuous flow of happy customers all of which they seem to know by name. If you haven't tried them yet be sure to stop by. I know you will enjoy the experience.“

“Walked out of the Shawarma Press across the street into this place. Did not know they opened a location in Johns Creek.

Plenty of parking. We were the only guests there to begin with and another family joined when we were leaving.

The food overall was delicious. Did an all vegetarian order for a change.

Appetizers: Spring Rolls, Basil Rolls
Soup: Coconut soup
Entrees: Panang Curry, Thai Fried Rice, Spicy Basil Noodles

All items were really flavorful and good. Great to have this restaurant in our vicinity. Would return back again soon.“

“Thai Star has been a staple in Norcross for decades. Stopped by for lunch and it was packed. We were quickly served complimentary egg rolls and water. Now days you order from a tablet on the table. My wife had Pad Thai, I chose Pad Basil. Both were delicious and were plentiful enough to take some home for dinner.“

The Thai Basil Fried Rice at medium spice is my go-to and it is delicious at every hour of the day. I have gone during lunch hours and have returned with a party of 7 people and the quality of food never changes. The fried ice cream is also pretty good, and the Thai tea is great! It reminds me of Adeni Chai as a base, but they use different additives, so its a completely different experience. The service is also a 10/10 and I love the vibe. The lighting is great, and it is so interesting to see a bit into Thai culture. I would recommend this spot to anyone!! Also, just a heads up, Thai people don't eat with chopsticks!! I was first introduced to pho when I was 22 and working at a Korean law firm. For the past 11 years, pho has been my go-to meal for everything: hangover, common cold, emotional comfort. I'd not be exaggerating to estimate I've been going to different pho restaurants at least once a week for 11 years. This is the very first one where a waiter or staff member has suggested something and said "that's the way we eat it in Vietnam." Our waiter suggested a sauce mixture (the base of which is his homemade recipe) that had my husband saying the two quotes at the beginning of this review. And he added "it's like a Vietnamese holy water, purging the demons from my sinuses" before we left. I'd highly recommend this place. We'll definitely be back - hopefully we'll get more "back in Vietnam" recommendations too! It adds so much to the experience when someone shares their passion and homeland experiences with you - it is obvious food here is cooked with love. They know my order by heart now and always prepare it perfectly. I always get extra spicy everything with an extra entree to go home for lunch the next day. They always have it packaged up and ready to go when I pay my bill. That even started making spicy soy sauce to go with my dumplings. I love it here“

Find this place while in the area I wanted some good Chinese food.

I stopped in & placed a Togo order.

I ordered braised wings , the seafood combination, another order of braised wings with fried rice & crab wagoons

The sauce/ flavoring on the wings was sooo good. They were good sized wings too.

The seafood combination was also good the seafood taste wasn’t over powering & with the rice it was a good mixture

It took about 10 mins before our food to be ready and they were super friendly even 20 mins before closing.

If I’m in the area again. I’m definitely stopping in.“

“We moved to Buford Ga 5 years ago from NYC and if you’re from NYC you know Chinese food is a staple. We’ll let me just say Friends House is the only Chinese food that has come close to feeling like home. We love the beef and broccoli, pork fried rice and so many other things. “We love the carry out option at this Tin Drum. One of the fastest to get the food out and the flavors are pretty consistent. Never disappoints but while they are adding a large variation into the menu the "shrinkflation" is fairly obvious and quantities are going down.“
