“We’ve visited this Thai restaurant a couple of times and overall had a good experience. We tried the chicken red curry, vegetable fried rice, and vegetable curry. The curries were a little on the watery side, but still had a nice traditional flavor. My family felt the fish sauce taste was a bit stronger than they prefer, so that may depend on personal taste. The fried rice was good, and overall it’s a nice place for a casual Thai meal.“

“What a nice surprise this Thai restaurant was. The dining area was spacious and comfortable, and the service was excellent.

Panan took care of us and was really friendly. She checked on us often to make sure everything was good, and also took time to talk with us about schools, restaurants, and other things. I also liked that she made sure our kid was part of the conversation and listened to what she had to say. It made the whole place feel very welcoming.

The owner also came by to make sure our kid liked the food she had made, which was a very nice touch.

The food was great. We had the drunken noodles, Pad Thai, and basil fried rice, and all three were excellent.

But one day I was craving Chinese takeout and I decided to get it delivered through DoorDash (I know super risky, especially with all the fees) I ordered the amazing chicken and the black pepper chicken lo main egg drop soup And eggrolls and spring rolls . To my surprise, the food was nice and hot and delicious ! So since then, I’ve been going to pick it up myself and they never disappoint (also a lot cheaper) . Metro Atlanta has some pretty good authentic Thai places, although the percentage of good Thai places in Atlanta Metro in comparison to other places is very limited. Today I wanted to step outside my normal routine and got the General Tso's chicken. I love GT chicken, but this was a first from this place. “Best Chinese in the area hands down! A friend of mine from NY was visiting and wanted good chinese I took her here! She absolutely loved it! They fried their rice differently i don’t know how to explain but it’s very crisp the texture of the rice is top tier not to mention they use seasoning in their food never bland and I am not a big curry fan but when I tell you their curry is the best and only curry I eat! I don’t even write a lot of reviews but I most give credit where credit is due!!!“

The menu is creative and diverse in various Asian blends with flavors that feel like around the world. There is clearly thought and passion into every dish I’ve tried. I especially loved their Tonkotsu ramen, Chow Mein, and Beef Bulgogi. The space is cozy and inviting, despite the shop itself being quaint. It is perfect for catching up with friends. As my first experience here, I haven’t had a bad experience with the wait time or the quality of it. The workers are very kind and, they are very social. Coming in I was greeted at the front of the house by Vallie, and with getting a drink she gave a generous amount of recommendations, I am sure the workers have great taste and will be there to help you. With Vallie’s helpful choices and bubbly and inviting hospitality, I ended up getting the Iced Lychee Fruit Tea which was so delicious. By leaving, they had a nice selection of Japanese and asian candys like Hi-chew, my personal favorite! I live in Marrietta visiting Cumming, and it was so great to find such a wonderful business serving with warmth and love. Come to this spot its a major game changer♥️“

Even though there are many, many Chinese restaurants in this area, most were mediocre at best. Tonight, I tried The Pearl and it was absolutely outstanding! The best Chinese food that I have had anywhere in the US, including NYC and San Francisco. The restaurant itself is very nice and clean and you are immediately greeted by a very friendly hostess so the first impression is excellent. The servers are very attentive and fast and the food arrives quickly. The food is perfectly prepared and the flavor is distinctly better than other Chinese restaurants but the very noticeable difference was the quality of their ingredients. Everything, meat and all vegetables, seemed to be very fresh and very high quality products. For the best Chinese meal that you have ever tasted, you must try The Pearl!“
