“It was such a pleasure to visit Mack Vegan for the first time yesterday. This family has been serving healthy delicious vegan meals to the public for twenty years or more. I frequently visit the Decatur location called IJuice which is very small so it was very nice to see how they have expanded. You can always appreciate the hospitality. Also, the level of cleanliness there is A1; they always have ? on the board from the health department. This time we ordered jerk tofu and curry chicken along with vegetable stew soup. I ordered an omelette with mixed peppers, onions, chicken sausage with the creamy grits and a biscuit. I don’t know what they do to those grits however, they are the creamiest perfectly cooked grits that I’ve had out at any restaurant. On top of the grits, the biscuits are top notch, soft and flaky and served with an homemade apple butter. I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast at this location. It was extremely busy and we were seated in about 25 minutes. It is definitely a place that I will visit again.

She was extremely sweet, really went out her way to make sure we were completely happy along with serving other tables! She was extremely patient with all the kids and had a constant smile! Of course that is very important these days. So I can only speak on the food which was very fresh the second time I went I ordered me the halibut or fish sandwich I asked for no slaw because I do not eat any type of dairy and they took off everything when it actually came with an avocado spread which they did not put on the sandwich so it was just a bear fish sandwich yet I paid for the whole sandwich which I didn't like because I was not able to substitute it for anything else. I have so far been only to this establishment within Trilith. Since they don't have much of what I could eat I may not go back only just for the falafel bowl which was pretty good.“
