“My family and I use to eat there all the time. We stopped when Covid hit in 2020. Dined in on Saturday Dec 13th and wasn't aware they add gratuity on your check for 4 adults and 3 kids. We didn't have a problem with it until my daughter went up to the counter to order food to go. The server then kept her ticket and added that order to the ticket for a bigger tip. Long story short they had to call the owner to get permission to take it off. The server then made a comment and said they're mad because they got to pay gratuity. I lit into her and told her she should have kept her comment to herself, even if she thought that. You don't make a comment like that in front of the customer. Should have gotten my tip back. Won't be dining in again if she's the server.“

“I came to Hot Cafe twice in one week—that’s how good it was.

First visit: I ordered the chicken pho and wow… the broth alone was amazing, almost giving ramen vibes. I also tried the fried chicken wings and the flavor was on point.

Second visit: My cousin got the red coconut curry tofu and it was absolutely amazing. I had the pineapple chicken fried rice, and once again—the flavor did not disappoint.

The Thai tea was great, though I do wish there were a dairy-free option since it’s made with half-and-half. That said, I don’t even like bananas, but their banana egg roll dessert was scrumptious.

The atmosphere is no-frills, but the customer service is a solid 10/10. Friendly, welcoming, and consistent food quality.

I saw a large crowd come in 15 minutes before closing, and they treated them and made their food fresh, just as though the restaurant had just opened. “I ordered a devil's food cake for my husband's birthday last week and Yamesia absolutlely delivered. I had a hard time finding a baker who knew what a devil's food cake was. Not the case with Yamesia. The cake was delicious, moist with true deep chocolate flavor. The icing was light and not overly sweet. We had a sheet cake and usually there is cake left over at most of the parties I have attended in the last few years. This is my forever cake artist, decorator and baker. Kudos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!“

“Hi, this is a weird one. We had a nice time here as we waited for our plane. Our waitress was great and took care of us. Problem is, I went to get some money exchanged after my wife came back, had to go straight onto the plane. She thought I paid, I thought she paid, we never paid! They wouldn’t let me off the plane to settle up and then when I called it just rang and rang. We feel awful about this. How do we pay you? It was on January 1st, 2026 around 630pm. Really hope our nice waitress didn’t get stuck with our bill, either way, we want to rectify this. Please have someone let us know how to get ahold of you here.“
