Bubba Jax Crab Shack Reviews
Passing through on our way to Atlanta. This place was close to our hotel and had a covered patio where they welcomed our toy poodle. THEN, the service, the food! Best oysters on the half shell ever - rivaling the Oyster Bar in Grand Central Station in New York City. Fried green tomatoes - delicious! Popcorn shrimp terrific! Yummy Cole slaw and cheesy grits. I was amazed and delighted to have found this treasure. Such friendly and fun staff served us very quickly and graciously....read full review
The food was fantastic. My family had the seafood boil for four and ate every bit of it! I had a shrimp salad and a side of grits. The shrimp were blackened to perfection and the grits were seasoned very well.
Absolutely fantastic dining experience! Staff is friendly and attentive… and FAST! Seriously- we couldn’t believe how quickly our dinner made it to us!
On to the main course: AMAZING! I’m a New England native and somewhat of a seafood aficionado. I was extremely impressed with the freshness and quality of the shrimp and crab combo!

Bubba Jax Crab Shack is a popular spot offering delicious and fresh meals. The snow crab dinner, priced at $36 for four clusters and two sides, is a standout option, known for its juiciness. The seafood platter is also highly recommended. Recent reviews highlight the fantastic food, with families enjoying the seafood boil for four and praising the shrimp salad and grits, where the shrimp were blackened to perfection. Customers appreciate the friendly and fast service, noting how quickly their meals arrive. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, resembling a hometown hole-in-the-wall restaurant where everyone feels like a local. The restaurant is clean and offers a great dining experience just 2 minutes off the interstate, making it an excellent spot to eat. The grouper blackened sandwich is awesome, and the crabcakes are great. The calamari is fresh and tender, and the steamed oysters are plentiful. Customers have enjoyed the lunch boil and a crab cake with coleslaw.
