“Passing through Covington and was very happy we decided to have dinner here! For starters, we got the foxy balls which is a really flavorful fish cake, the portions were big and satisfying. We then had their special for a limited time, Suya Beef and Suya Chicken wings. The flavors are on point! Both beef and chicken were seasoned so good, the chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy inside. It has an enjoyable heat, perfect amount of spice. Even the cucumbers and plantains were seasoned well, everything on the plate was amazing. They are definitely worth it. The prices are very affordable too considering the quality and the portion you’re getting. Will definitely be back when we’re in the area again! ❤️”

Both the bride & groom are big coffee lovers and all the guests enjoyed the several yummy options! Loved the personalized wedding menu and signage! Joselin was great to work with, she was nice, very responsive, & answered all my questions. The two baristas arrived & were ready to serve on time and were super sweet and fun! It was the perfect special treat at the wedding!”

“Living in Atlanta, I only knew of Huey Magoo’s through my friends in Athens. They recommended I stop by as I was driving past this location coming back from a weekend visit a year ago. The grilled chicken, the fries, THE HONEY MUSTARD (!)— I was immediately hooked. I also appreciated their workers offering to get me a refill or take away my trays once done. Service like that these days is hard to find in fast casual restaurants.

My sister and I specifically planned to stop by this location on our drive back to Atlanta today. We shared the 8 piece tender meal and they were able to accommodate half grilled half breaded for us. Alicia took our order and was very patient and kind as we worked through our final selections.

As I paid, I had a special request that I inquired about, not sure if it would be possible. She said she’d check with her manager in a few minutes. About 10 minutes later, Alicia walked over to our table with an update, taking my contact info. We got to chatting and ended up discussing iconic southern food recipes. She ended up finding a picture of her grandmother’s grape salad recipe and shared it with me! Again, so rare to find such above and beyond customer service these days.

Thankfully my sister is getting a Huey Magoo’s near her in Herndon, VA soon. PLEASE consider a location near Decatur/ Atlanta, GA!!!”

The dishes were fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The drinks were delicious too!
