44 Best Pizza Restaurants near Watkinsville

“I enjoy dining here. Hardly ever have I had bad food or service. Always a good to great experience. However I urge you to strongly reconsider having live music in your establishment. While I love music, your establishment is way to small for it. I came here to have dinner and conversation with my wife. If I wanted to hardly be able to carry a conversation and hear live music, I’d go to a bar. If this becomes a regular occurrence, I’ll find a new pizza joint. Sincerely a long time customer. And yes, there is outdoor dining, however it isn’t always available seating wise or ideal temps.“

“Marcos in Watkinsville is excellent and it’s our go-to chain for pizza. The drivers are always fast and courteous and our food is hot and fresh. The owners of this franchise have always been gracious to their customers. Highly recommend, especially when you want delivery while watching the Dawgs game on Saturdays. Keep up the great work!“

“Stopped by while traveling because we saw the menu on a Google search. This place was fantastic. Events super fresh, homemade, and delicious. We got a Calzone and a Catfish platter. Both were outstanding. Will be back to try more of the many menu options.“

“First time guest. Nothing but good things to say. Friendly, fast service. Top quality toppings. My new favorite pizza place, bar none! Two thumbs up! Five out of five stars. Love it, and will be coming back for more!“

“We held our annual group Christmas party on their outdoor deck last evening. Great spot for a mid-size group gathering. Food is always good and the service was excellent! Will definitely use this space again!“

“Wouldn’t want to get pizza anywhere else. Customer service and management is wonderful!!! They will definitely be getting my business again!“

“Usually I only leave reviews after a bad experience, and this one started out that way — my order was wrong and my receipt didn’t match what their system showed. I called as soon as I noticed, and they immediately replaced the entire order with no questions asked. I know this Domino’s location has been short-staffed for a while, but the team still came through and handled everything professionally. Whoever owns this location needs to give these workers a raise and hire more help — they definitely deserve it! I’m genuinely grateful for the great customer service tonight and how they went out of there way“

“I liked the detroit style pizzas here much more than the ones ive had in detroit... these are so flavorful and reheat just as tasty. My favorite is the VIP pizza, but sometimes they add too much chilli. The crust is so good. The angel pizza and ceasar salad are also good. The desserts are just okay. I did not know they had brunch before, but I would love to try it!“

“this pizza is delicious. so happy to have an option that isnt downtown . I love that its not overly greasy and totally customizable. perfect for our little family to have a quick bite and I love that its local. the art is pretty cool touch too!“

“Wow! Newk's Catering is awesome! Food was delicious and the sandwiches were creative, Bundle choices were wonderful, delivery was right on time, customer service is excellent! I highly recommend Newk's (Athens) for your catering needs. Thank you, Zach and Makayla (hope I'm close on the spelling!); you both were great to work with and so helpful!“

“The service was really good! We had a large group and she took very good care of us. Food and drinks were really good too!“

“Pizza is good. My only complaint is that I ordered a house salad. I expected lettuce, tomato, onion and croutons because that is what it said it came with. When I received my salad it was nothing but lettuce and onion. I had to come home and add toppings because it basically had nothing.“

“DoorDash caused a nightmare. Your Pie stepped in, called me about the sketchy dasher, and personally delivered it to me! They are always so great, but today showed how well they treat their customers. Above and beyond! Highly recommend.“

“This pizza is incredible. Cannot believe that I got it from a gas station“

“Not a dine-in, so I couldn't rank it high for atmosphere.

15 years ago, as a grad student, I used to order wings from Bulldawg Pizza all the time. Nostalgia struck and I decided to get wings there, since I figured the quality hadn't gone anywhere with them still being open.

Few things don't change, but Bulldawg Pizza hasn't. Thoroughly enjoyed the wings again and the employees were friendly. I hope they're always there every time I visit Athens.

One thing - do check your pizza if you're asking them to leave toppings off a specialty pizza. They left artichoke hearts on our pizza. Not to a huge extent, but that's why they get 4 stars instead of 5. But if you're just looking for regular pepperoni, you'll get pretty good pizza fast.“

“I have been eating Schlotzsky’s Original Deluxe sandwich since 1993. It is the best sandwich I have ever eaten and I have been in 30+ states and at least 7 other countries. And to make it tastes even better I add their hot sauce. Their Cinnabon’s are great too. When you’ve tried all the rest, try the best- Schlotzsky’s. 🤠“

“This place is doomed to fail. Ordered takeout and noticed the health rating as wife left with food. A glorious 85! Needless to say, food was tossed in the garbage and we will never return. This was our third attempt to give them a chance. Horrible service on first try. Horrible food on the second try and abysmal health rating on the third try. Done and done.“

“The food is delicious however because some people have had issues with thinking their pizza was undercooked (when it wasn't. Papa John's cheese just melts differently.) they started putting the toppings under the cheese which causes them to get soggy. I remedy this by calling after placing my order online to request my toppings be on top of the cheese.“

“dank blaze it 420 69xxx 🔥“

“New manager and he's awesome give them another chance. It's a whole lot better now.“

“Very good pizza!! Fast and friendly!“

“To my knowledge there are a couple of Little Caesars Pizza stores in the Lavonia area. One in Hartwell and I believe one in Toccoa. I normally go to the one in Hartwell. I have not visited the one in Toccoa. Normally my Little Caesars visits are when I'm in Hartwell for other shopping visits. Being only a drive-in only, it is convenient, takes very little time, and an economical value for the price (when compared to Domino's, Papa John's, or Pizza Hut). I have seen several on- line editorials detailing which pizza stores are best. Some are given a higher rating than others often detailing fresher ingredients, better service, etc. Like my descriptions these are subjective and relative to to the person giving the evaluation. I will say this that to date my expectations have been met each time I've ordered a pizza from Little Caesars. It would be nice and convenient if one was located in Lavonia, if nothing but to have an economic value to choose from, or maybe a Mom & Pop venue or a Your Pie like Athens. I'm a firm believer that competition makes everyone better.“

“When I first walked in the Manager was at the cash register. She had a big smile and said hello....... So it was taking me a long time to order then on top of that I had an difficult order!! This lady was so nice, the food was good, and it didn't take long!“
