“Five Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I ordered VB via Door Dash but DD messed up and delivered to someone elses house (insert eye roll) now some else gets to enjoy it tonight too lol. I got a refund and reordered because I live near VB and have seen it a few times and wanted to try it. The order arrived and I was not disappointed in the least bit! I got the house burger and loaded it with l,t,o,p and jalapeños with Xtra cheese with seasoned fries. I added a chocolate Concrete with Hershes syrup and Oreos.... Omg. Everything was delicious, the burger was messy but a great burger needs to be a bit messy. I can't respect it if it isn't. The fries were perfectly seasoned and tasty as hell. The Concrete was sooo amazing. Definitely hit the spot on the sweetness factor. So glad I got to try it but a bit irritated with Door Dash for making me reorder and waiting even longer cause I was HUNGRY!!! Thanks VB for a very fulfilling late lunch. Definitely will recommend and will be back for more. Besides, I saw there's hot dogs too!!!“

“Absolutely one of my favorite places to eat! Friendly, helpful staff and great food is a winning combo. It can get busy, making it hard to find seating but in warmer months there's patio space as well. Parking rules have changed recently but if you can find a spot, it's free for one hour which is all you need here unless you want to go multiple places.“

“This location once upon a time couldn’t keep a tenant. The fact that Donovan’s has been here for 15 years is a testament to the way they’ve treated us like family all these years. My goal in 2025 is to stop in my neighborhood pub more often and grab a pint (or 2) and some pub grub.“

“Love the drive-through option at this location. It makes me feel like the food will come out fast and it did. Customer Service is nice and the building is pristine as I expected for the Woodstock area. I’ve eaten at City BBQ chain several times in Sandy Springs. It’s funny that most locations have the same rating (4.3 or 4.4). I believe it’s because this place is incredibly consistent. You know when you come here that you can find something good to eat. Not everything is on the wow level, but it’s good and that’s a good thing.

Not many meal deals and the menu isn’t very elaborate but some variety. The ribs and everything fried is pretty good. Prices are fair in “today’s market pricing” although at mom and pop shops you may get a bit more quantity, but maybe not as much consistency and speed.

The little brisket platter at $11.49 looks small but it was enough for me. When you add two sides & a drink + a tip if you’d like, you’re $20-$25 for a lunch barbecue brisket meal. You could get the sandwich with a side for less if you want the breading and less meat. It had a little smoked taste, which I liked, I prefer long cuts on the brisket instead of these squares, some cut thick and some cut thin. Looked dry-was a bit dry on first bite but easy to chew, when I dipped it in the barbecue sauce, it was fine. I was looking for that pink smoke rim on the meat.

I am particular about mac & cheese, coleslaw, potato salad, so to save my stomach any issues I typically pick the safer options which are green beans, baked beans, fried okra, hush puppies, french fries, onion rings. The green beans were delicious with a good amount of meat inside. Not sure if it was turkey or pork. The okra taste was delicious but because of the oil, I definitely needed that soda to wash it down. I was quite sleepy after this meal.

Overall, because of the consistency and cleanliness, I’d recommend and come back here. I could order the ribs and brisket again, wish they had more sides like collard greens, baked potato, steamed okra, peas, southern style potato salad, corn on the cobb or kernels, corn bread. It does say city BBQ, not country BBQ, lol.“

“Whenever I crave red meat, Longhorn is my restaurant of choice so I’ve been to plenty of Longhorns in various states, and last night I was deeply impressed with how the hostess (the tall one) handled the crowd last night. I saw the parking lot was full on a Thursday night so I called ahead to know if the wait was going to be long so I can go somewhere else since I had a very productive day and I was hungry, but the hostess was so efficient and organized that I barely waited 10 minutes. My waitress and the store manager were all very helpful but the way the hostess was running things in the front, she was on it. She was a great first impression and I see leadership potential in her if that’s her desire.“

“Semi-early morning at IHOP. I had crepes (lemon ricotta with mixed berries). It was very tasty, my friend had blue berry pancakes. We both finished off our entire breakfast. I almost forgot we started off with the cinnamon dippers, also yummy. Service was fast, and food came out SUPER fast.“

“We frequently eat at the Captain D’s on Hwy 92 in Woodstock, Ga. One of the employees, Kirsten, has made the added effort to learn our names and recognize us with a broad smile when she sees us and kind friendly words of hospitality and welcome,seeing to it that we leave with a hometown feeling that our business is appreciated. “Did the Brunch buffet today. Everything I sampled was good to excellent. Definitely no complaints. All the staff were helpful, courteous, and smiling. JD even played a pinball game with my 2 grandsons. My only complaint, if you want to call it that,was being charged for ice tea. Trust me, that won't stop us from going again. EXCELLENT!!“
