Visited Family Tradition on a Thursday night. Enjoyed the chicken fried steak, mac n cheese and the cheese biscuit. We liked it so much we came back the following Saturday with friends and all of us enjoyed the food. We thought it may only be food from a can, but it definitely tastes homemade. The menu is huge and they have daily specials. The staff were all very friendly and ensured our drinks stayed full and we were taken care of. So glad to have found this place.

Typical local Southern diner menu. Great staff and atmosphere.

The salmon meal is favorite to go. It’s always delicious! Nice young man took my order at the front. 🙂

They have changed their menu and had wild caught grilled shrimp. Which i was happy about and I understand they are going to start serving breakfast again. I go and wait there while my dog is being groomed. It's convenient.
Their coleslaw is really good, so was the shrimp and apple sides with yellow rice.
Service was quick and waitress was great. It's been there for a long time. They give a senior discount which you have to ask for when paying bill. There prices are good. I love sitting outside there.

I ordered for 2 meals. First i was told i couldnt order meat with 3 vegetables as advertised. Finally after having to speak with the manager i was able to and paid for the entrée. When i arrived home my 3rd vegetable wasnt there and i called back. The MOD Allison offered me to drive back for it or they would just owe me instead of taking it off my bill. She told me those were my only options and told me i can call the owner suzie if i didnt like it. I will call suzie and update my review after speaking with the owner. It seems this establishment relies on people paying extra for not only the lack of training of thier staff but thier mistakes as well.
