“Fast and friendly service, tasty food and nice portion sizes. Their oxtail soup/mein is underrated, and a nice option on a rainy day. Daughter loves it here. Reminds me of the Chinese restaurants that we enjoyed during my childhood across the state.“

“Locally owned Chinese and BBQ. Ordered a delicious lunch for three of us. One has allergies to dairy and milk, and owners recommended BBQ chicken with rice and kimchee. Another has a gluten and spice issue, so they recommended grilled sea bass with lemon grass, rice, and fresh salad. Third person had garlic chicken. It is breaded and fried; it is tasty and fresh. Everything was made from scratch and ready in 15 minutes. Great for dining in or taking out. Variety of menu items. Lots of locals are frequent patrons. Owners have been there since 1999.“

“Their lemon chicken is the bomb diggity! Def bringing me back to my childhood days. There's a couple tables in the inside that you can dine in, but more tables on the outside. I used to spend my Saturday's getting a plate lunch from here. You can do half and half with their rice and yummy noodles, but again their lemon chicken is just so crispy and tender at the same time! The skin is the best part. They also hand you a small lemon sauce to dip it in, which is the perfect amount of lemon flavor. I've tried other lemon chickens before and the sauce always overpowers. But what they're doing here in Ho's definitely surpasses most. I also got the pork stuffed eggplants. Another thing to try if you're doing a 2+ choice is their beef and broccoli. And don't fret if you're not in the mood for their combo choices! They serve stomach warming won ton soup that hits the spot :)“

“I went to No 1 twice on my trip! They had some of the larger tables blocked off for groups, there's a selection of prepared dishes (like Panda Express, but not a national chain), AND you could order some entrees that were cooked to order, so it was one of my top picks with a group of 6 people. I had the chicken katsu and it was made fresh in the back and was delicious! Another member of our group had the fish and it took significantly longer, but he said it was delicious. (Fresh fishy in Hawaii)I had a Kirkland dragonfruit drink and ... it tasted like any other red-flavored liquid.I was sad that their bathroom said No Public Restroom. “For fast food this place is great. All the dishes were fresh and the staff was very friendly. I love how clean everything is and that all the workers were wearing masks. I haven't had a dish I haven't liked but the broccoli beef is solid and one of my go to dishes. No fountain drinks here all sodas are in the bottle.“

“This place is very close to the lydgate park which is perfect spot to fill up after a good swim. HUGH portion! i ordered the BBQ plate and the flavor was spot on! they also have ready-to-go dish if you are in a hurry. Price is very reasonable compared to other places on Kauai. “Busy Panda express at dinner time. We ordered two, 2-entree dinners. Walnut shrimp, orange chicken, and all chow mein, along with mushroom chicken, teriyaki chicken, and all super greens.On the 1st meal, all items were ready to eat upon ordering them. We had to ask for this dinner because they filled it but held it with the other order that was waiting for super greens and teriyaki chicken.They were out of super greens and teriyaki chicken when I ordered my entree selections. The super greens were ready in about 7 minutes, and the teriyaki chicken took 15 minutes longer. I really wanted the teriyaki chicken, so I decided to wait for it.After about 10 min, I asked for my super greens and mushroom chicken since they had already put that in my eating container, and I wanted to enjoy it while it was still warm. When I got my teriyaki chicken, the 2 pieces I received had a lot of visceral fat in them, so they were a bit too fatty and chewy for my taste.We'll probably return and hopefully not run into this issue with the longer wait time for the teriyaki chicken.Parking: This restaurant is located in a larger shopping ctr, so parking was not a problem.“
