“I had been on island for a week and the day I leave I found this place. The food was amazing and felt like home cooked eating. The owner and staff were friendly and talked to us for quite some time about everything. They are genuinely some of the nicest people we’ve met on the island and must suggest this place to anyone and everyone that is coming to Kauai. Don’t make the same mistake we did, come on your first day and you won’t be disappointed.“

“We are Marriott Owners and stayed on property to enjoy the Royal Sonesta amenities. Kukui's bar opened up after their beautiful remodel.while we were there. I shared my thoughts with Anthony, who was the manager on site. Christmas Day was crazy busy and the staff kicked butt and did a fantastic job. Boy, were they hustling and still kept their composure and professionalism! The menu has been refreshed and had many great healthy options. The prices are standard for this type of higher end property. The breakfast menu offered many options and all that we tasted were beautifully plated and very delicious! Yes, there were hiccups, which is expected, but the staff did the best they could. I'm not going to mention what needed to be improved on yet. “Located at the Outrigger hotel and adjacent to Kauai Beach Villas, this restaurant is convenient and very pleasant with indoor and outdoor seating. Breakfast was delicious with poached eggs, Canadian bacon, papaya and mimosa with many other selections. Dinner offerings cover every appetite, including a daily catch-of-the-day. Food is deliciously prepared from an abundant selection. Desserts are divine. Service is gracious and delivered with a smile.“

“Absolutely amazing. The view, atmosphere, food, and pleasant staff made this an dinner one of our favorites so far! You cannot go wrong with sitting inside or outside, but if you have time to wait for a terrace view, do it! My husband and I were fans of the Chocolate, Chocolate, Chocolate cake if you have room for dessert!“

“The Prime Rib was enjoyed by my son-in-law, and I LOVED the Stung Honey Fried Chicken. The coconut shrimp were the perfect accompianment to the King Tiki Mai Thai. My wife loved the Asian Salad, but my DIL thought the Macademia Crusted Mahi Mahi was a bit dry. Service was SPECTACULAR, and the kids menu was extensive - our 3.5 yo grandson loved the grilled cheese sandwich with waffle fries, our 19 month old grandaughter loved the pasta with marinara, and there was also pasta with butter sauce, cheese burger sliders with waffle fries, and chicken tenders with waffle fries. The view of the pool and ocean from under the lanai was also terrific!“
