First timr trying Catania Ristorante Italiano at Waimalu Shopping Center. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends. Parking is also a challenge during the busy times. Chinese owners serving Italian food. The food is good, but not memorable good. Pasta is cooked well and their garlic cheese bread is very good. Spaghetti sauce too runny, but the Seafood Linguine is delicious. Prices are affordable, considering the portion size is generous and they don't skimp on...

I went there with my extended family to celebrate my cousin's birthday. We took a large section in the small restaurant, but they did a great job. Service was great, friendly staff and the food was very delicious. I was a little surprised on their pricing at first, but when our plates came, all of us were more than satisfied that the portion sizes were very generous which to me more than justified their slightly higher prices. We celebrated my birthday here last June. We all enjoyed the friendly and awesome service, of course the tasty foods and portions are the best! We had a big cooler for our drinks( BYOB)The owner came and say hi to us. It did not disappoint from beginning to end! Thank you, Catania Team, I definitely go back for take out! Highly recommend.
