“Pretty good food late at night. Great catfish sandwich and fries It's right next to an adult entertainment/strip club place or whatever so that might scare you. They also ask you to park next to it which I didn't want to do so i just walked around the corner and ate it in my car. Expect police presence or stings or whatever sketchy stuff goes around here. Would order delivery from here though since it's good and I think it's safer.“
“Fantastic Indian food. Not just fantastic for Hawaii. Fantastic Indian food period. We randomly stumbled onto the place and then it became a main stay for us during our stay. My 70 year old mom was astonished by the dal tadka and wanted to know the recipe. That is how good the food was. The chef is amazing and super kind. Can say he really cares about his art. Such a gem. Definitely try it during your stay in Honolulu.“
“This was a fun show! The first 30m are pre-show activities. Kids (and adults) and make leis and banana leaf crowns. There was a little music and drinks being handed out.The main event was a multipart show which encompassed the various islander population heritages which were all performed by the same cast. The dinner was okay, nothing fancy, but certainly miles better than traditional hotel or beach restaurant fare. The culmination was [of course] the fire knife dance and military appreciation(s).“
“Great place to get authentic local Hawaiian food, and it's away from the tourism. Service was awesome and the prices are reasonable. I will go back 100%!Parking: There were a lot of cars in the lot but the place was pretty empty when we were there. I'm guessing people use it for commuter parking or something else.“
“I'm a big fan of Uncle Bo's, so when I heard he opened up a place in Waikīkī, I had to stop by. TPH is on Lewers, just North of Kalākaua. We already had dinner, so we opted for dessert. The taro beignets a la mode hit the spot. They were light & airy, crispy and paired well w/ the Frangelico honey sauce and ice cream. Regarding the ambiance, its tiki bar in here. TPH has a lot of bar food (pupus), that I will have to return for. Our waiter Zach was super nice, and the beignets came out quickly. I think Uncle Bo's has three other places besides TPH. Hats off to him for being a successful restauranteur in a tough market.“
“Good hole in the wall place though I've come to terms with only liking a few items. I've tried quite a few things here and always come back to the lechon (minus the onions and tomatoes). And it never disappoints! Today I had the shrimp katsu on recommendation from a coworker, and while it was prepared well, the sauce covering everything was not my favorite. The lechon and the brisket items are winners and items I'll def order in the future.“
“I've been eating at their tent at the Farmer's market for over 20 years. The food quality is consistently delicious and they have many regular customers. I particularly recommend their ahi plate of all of their other plates (steak, roast pork, chili, beef stew etc) are equally as good and all the regulars have their own favorites.“
“They offer such good food here. When I saw the photos from the Honolulu farmers market Yelp page, I knew I wanted to try this food. All the dishes were pretty memorable. The lines weren't too long and the entire process of ordering and getting our food was fast and efficient. The lady who helped us was really nice. We got the ahi tuna plate (the best dish in my opinion). The tuna was well flavored and cooked to perfection in texture. The next fav was the Kailua pork, steak and then garlic noodles with shrimp. The shrimp and noodles was good but tasted bland. All the dishes came with a pretty big portion. My only small issue was that they said the steak had no dairy but it did either the steak had butter or there was some cross contamination. Not great if you have dairy allergies. Aside from this, such yummy food found here.“
“Aiea location-Saturday morning breakfast stop that was absolutely amazing! The walk-up ordering was fast and we were greeted with a wonderful smiling face to take our order. The food- fast, fresh, and delicious. We had the guava French toast, Uncle Boy’s waffle, Kahula pork fried rice burrito along with mac salad, fired chicken, and pickled mango- I cannot say which was better as every bite was flavorful and well prepared.A definite place for an affordable delicious meal.“
