Gen Korean BBQ House Reviews
I frequently dine there and always had a positive experience with the exception of tonight. Sauces was watered down and many items was not available including simple things such as rice and straws. Orders took forever to arrive and had to keep reordering the items. One of the managers came to apologize for the delay’s and shortages. At the end the receptionist and and another lady came to our table to ask how long more we will be here because we need the table for someone else....read full review

Gen Korean BBQ House offers great food with quick service, although there is room for improvement. The restaurant is noted for its cleanliness and the effective use of air conditioning, which helps keep guests comfortable while grilling. The popcorn chicken portions can be inconsistent, sometimes substantial and other times tiny fragments. The meat arrives promptly, and the background music adds to the lively dining atmosphere. However, the service could be more attentive, as guests often have to raise their hands for assistance. The $20 lunch buffet on weekdays continues to provide value for money, especially with new additions like fried mandoo and pancakes. Regulars appreciate the friendly staff at the Pearl Ridge location, particularly server Mocha, who is attentive and quick to meet guests' needs. While some diners express concerns about cooking their own meals and the lingering grill smell, many acknowledge the good service and quality of the meat, with favorites including kalbi, pork jowl, and thin brisket. Though some guests have noted issues like the grill not heating up enough or being understaffed, the overall dining experience is enjoyable, making it a popular choice for gatherings, including graduation parties. Families find it a great place to dine, though diners should be aware that there is a charge for any uncooked meat left on the table.
