“You will probably need to get a reservation 4-6 months out If you want to eat at a normal time. Worth it, but obviously very expensive. $300+ for me and my wife. We each had an entree and two glasses of wine and we shared a salad. Definitely get Mama's Curry!“

“Mother's Day Buffet had lots of options for the whole family. Bread pudding French toast, bacon, green bean salad and lavender lemon tarts were amazing! Staff was friendly and welcoming. They were very comfortable answering the children's questions and we even received a rose on the way out. Mahalo Haliimaile General! Best Mother's Day ever!“

“Had a really great lunch here on our way from the airport to our hotel. My seafood quesadilla was fantastic! The line was a little long but it as lunchtime on a Saturday. If you’re patient it’ll be fine. Order at the counter and then sit at long cafeteria style tables. Bathrooms available and clean but outdoors.Parking: Nearby public parking lot but space is limited and it’s a busy area“

“We had breakfast today, 4/10/24, at the new ownership and newly reimagined Café Mambo in Paia. The lemon ricotta pancakes with berry compote and a drizzle of sweet rosemary syrup blew the roof off. My husband’s breakfast burrito was just as spectacular. I hate posting this because I don’t want to fight crowds to get in like at Mama’s, but they really earned this shout out“

“Stopped here after we went to Haleakala and the food was delicious! Perfect island atmosphere and cool spots to eat inside and out! Our server was super laid back and sweet and it's a great place off the beaten path! Good for stop on the road to Hana.“

“This was a spontaneous find for breakfast and I couldn't have been happier! The staff were very welcoming. The atmosphere was relaxing and delightful. The food was delicious and they easily made accommodations for gluten-free Benedict. I will definitely be back.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options/ substitutions available.“
