“Halfway to Hana is definitely a popular stop with tourists, but hey, I was one too! 😅
The banana bread was the highlight for us. Warm, sweet, and exactly what you want when you are a little hungry in the middle of the drive to Hana. It made for the perfect road trip snack and gave us a little boost to keep going.
Is it a must visit destination on its own? Probably not. But if you are doing the Road to Hana, it is an easy and worthwhile stop to grab something to snack on and stretch your legs.
Sometimes you just need some good banana bread to keep the adventure going. 🍌🌺“

“Awesome vegetarian spring rolls fresh made to order, not premade frozen. We had dinner plans elsewhere so didn’t get to try more this time but will definitely be back. They also had every kind of Mexican and Asian hot sauce available on the island. There are complaints about it being slow but that’s because it’s all fresh made, this isn’t fast food and there are plenty of nice seating around to enjoy some down time“

“When I tell you it was the best thing we did on Maui- not kidding. It was an amazing experience! We learned so much and loved helping! The coffee shop was delicious! We both got the “bee sting” and it was the best coffee we had on the island while we were there! The honey was absolutely delicious! Everybody was so kind and happy to show us what they were working on and answer questions. The bees were so awesome. BEAUTIFUL views! 20/10 recommend. I only wish we could have done their farm to table as well. Their passion shines through!“

“Coming from 305 miami and having tasted a lot of Cuban coffee I can say that albas Cuban colada is by far the best and only real coffee in Maui. Juan Manuel Colome Santiago de Cuba, Oriente 110% Cubiche“

“This food truck stop features a great variety with about 10 different trucks to choose from. We tried a few different spots during our visit. First up was Mo Ono Hawaii for an acai bowl, which was absolutely delicious and super refreshing! Next, we tried Dino’s Gourmet. The burger came on a unique ube bun with a side of fresh-cut fries; while the burger itself was just okay, the fries were perfectly crispy and a major highlight. Finally, we grabbed the 3 tacos for $5 deal. The portions are on the smaller side, but for the price, it’s an incredible value. Overall, a fun spot with plenty of options!“
