“I got the falafel gyro with the non-dairy sauce options and the potato side dish. The gyro was good, but it had so much sauce that made the eating experience super messy. The potatoes came with both regular potatoes and sweet potatoes. They were either steamed or boiled, which I wasn’t expecting, but the sauce was good enough to make up for the lack of crunch. “Great place to try authentic Indian food! I ordered the coconut shrimp curry, and it was really delicious, nicely spiced and full of flavor. I got it medium, and honestly, it was still pretty spicy. I usually eat and enjoy spicy food, but this had some serious heat, so I probably wouldn’t recommend going “hot” unless you’re very confident.
The service and atmosphere were both on point. Even though it was busy, our order came out pretty quickly, which was impresive.

“BEST BURGER IN KAUAI. The little red food truck in the back of the spot behind the Liquor store in Hanalei is the best kept secret on Kauai. If you blink, you might miss the 4 or so creative food trucks on right side as you enter Hanalei. Sean the owner of Kauai Burger has taken every fresh ingredient available and transformed it into the best burger I have had in at least a year. I heard it was really good. Then I went today for the first time. It was so good, that I waited in line to get a second one just to try to figure out how to recreate a Kauai Burger on my own. Congratulations on creating an irresistible burger on the north shore. TIP: Best order is Double cheeseburger with the works along with tings. Delete review“

“Not sure about some of these recent reviews. Had an excellent experience here, poke was delicious, staff helped walk us through the menu and recommended bowls, and the atmosphere was amazing. Fresh ahi was delicious and sat right there enjoying it while watching the Hawaiian rain. We'll be back every trip!“

“I have been coming to Pat's Taqueria for over 10 years now, we make it a point to stop in every time. Highly convenient location at the Hanalei pier, its also a quick drive or walk down from Pine Trees, He'e street, or the pavilion if you choose to go there. Its a popular spot and the food truck is only so big so you have to wait and enjoy the surrounding views for a few moments, but that's not big deal as the anticipation of a fantastic taco makes it that much more delicious. I've had all of their tacos, you cant go wrong they are equally as phenomenal as the next. Any one that complains about price is nit picking because its 100% worth every penny.\n\nKeep on keeping on!“

“I have had a lot of pizza as it is one of my favorite foods. I even have my own pizza oven I cook my own. This is easily in my top 3 pizzas of all time. The base was amazing with good leoparding on the bottom. The crust had some great crispy crust. They are just 🤌🏼! I got the Kauai Beef Short Rib, and the toppings were just spectacular! Plus either the owner or one of the cooks has perfect music tone as well. Seriously cannot recommend this place enough!“

“We stopped here for coffee on our trip. I had a delicious Americano with a little macnut flavor. We also got the sourdough banana bread and I’m not exaggerating when I say that it might actually be the best banana bread I’ve ever had in my life. Do yourself a favor and order it! 🍌🍞

There is an outdoor seating in a beautiful garden space, but it was a drizzly morning and most people were taking their coffee to go. It seems to be a popular with locals — the few people we chatted with in line live in the area. There was a steady stream of people; I’d call it busy but not crowded and the barista served us all at a steady paced that felt efficient. He acknowledged everyone as they walked up and didn’t seem too bothered when I asked a couple questions about the plants in the seating area. I was careful to only ask two questions since he was busy and I can talk a lot! 😅

Overall the atmosphere felt friendly and relaxed and I wish I’d had an opportunity to come back during my trip.“

“This spot has probably the best views of Hanalei river and bay while you eat. Parking is limited. We tried some of the salads and açaí bowl- the food was good! More importantly, the staff were all very kind. Great stop on the island for a refresh and some photo ops.“

“Finding reasonably priced food that actually tastes good in Kauai is hard (in my opinion). This breakfast omelette was very tasty with hashbrowns, my husband liked the chicken stir fry. We went to this truck originally because we saw online they had Ahi, but it wasn't available. I would recommend this food truck for breakfast!“

I tried Thai Elephant last Tuesday and was impressed by how quickly they moved without the food feeling rushed.' I got the Pad See Ew, and the noodles had that wonderful burned flavor that you generally only find in sit-down restaurants!“

“We stopped here with family (6) on a Sunday evening in September, we had no wait to sit outside. The food was delicious and came out hot and fresh. I LOVE the cali burrito and the kids favorite is the bean burrito. We love Pacos Tacos. ❤️🌮🌮“
