“I was just driving by and so glad I stopped in! Freaking delicious. I got the holy cacao latte. They were able to make it with decaf (seems to be hard to find elsewhere). Soooo yummy. The little gal at the counter was super sweet - and I love that they have offerings with superfoods. Next time I'll try the Kevlar - coconut oil & butter. Expensive place but worth it!“
“Super cozy place with authentic Mexican food. We recommend the Al Pastor meat. It was so good we had to order some more tacos! It is a family place, very friendly and close. If we had found this place earlier we would have definitely come back!“
“Taco truck with umbrella shaded tables, views of the beach and fresh caught mahi.I ordered a side of the fish along with my tacos and was not disappointed.Perfectly cooked Mahi seasoned with just enough salt and pepper to enhance the natural flavor.Super generous portions and delicious sauces and guac.BONUS: acai, thai, and coffee food trucks nearby as well.“
“Maybe something has changed but the fish sandwich I had was one of the best fish sandwiches I've ever had! The fish was cooked perfectly, still juicy. The fresh veggies and sauce on the sandwich was also very good, fries were hot, portions perfect for me. Sandwich ate like a juicy cheeseburger, messy but delicious!“
“Nice tasty little place. I need gluten free, so I ordered the chicken satay and gluten free fried rice (they said that besides satay was my only option really). It was really good. (A lot of black pepper on the fried rice - which my husband loved, me not so much. Happy with the food overall!“
“This place was better than any thai spot I've been to on oahu, and I've been to most of them. The pad thai was fire, the red curry was fire, the spring rolls were so fresh, and also fire! Took it to go and the food was still piping hot when we got to our spot.“
“Celebrated our 1st Anniversary. Food and Service are tops! Amazing choices on menu whether really hungry or just something light.Yes! Would return again....next time we're in Kauai.Feel fortunate we found this place on a Sunday night in Kapa'a.“
“It's always a treat when we eat here I personally LOVE their takoyaki balls and spicy tuna sushi rolls. Their tobiko nigiri is always a must too, it's my daughter's favorite! I've ordered just about everything on the menu and all of their items taste so fresh and onolicious! Aside from their fresh sushi, their service is beyond amazing! We are always greeted with welcoming smiles and happy vibes. Love the staff here they are really one of the friendliest food trucks I've ever been to. Overall I definitely recommend this little food truck to anyone and everyone! #Spicy Tuna Roll #Tuna Lover Roll #Takoyaki“
“I LOVE Nanea so MATCHA! The best matcha in the World. My favorite is Oat Rose Matcha with touch of Honey. Mason & his team are always bringing the good vibes. Also, you get to sip amongst Native Hawaiian plants!!! A must visit spot on the North Shore, bring your dogs!????“
“My sister and I were recommended Rainbeau Jo’s by a local resident on our first day of our vacation. Our grave error was waiting until the last 5 days of our 12-day trip to get to Rainbeau Jo’s. This place is AMAZING. The coffee is fantastic, the vibes are impeccable, and I’m still dreaming about the Cowabunga on rosemary bagel (one of the March specials). We went every day after our first visit and were never disappointed. Beau and Jo are so enthusiastic about life and friends and sharing their love of coffee with anyone who walks through the door. They had my coffee order down pat by the third visit, which I think qualifies me as a Regular (16oz latte with nonfat milk and coconut flavor). They were both so excited to see us walk through the door every morning and we were so thrilled to be greeted with joyful smiles and endearing enthusiasm. We came for the coffee and we stayed for the vibes and the coffee and also the bagels. I can’t recommend Rainbeau Jo’s enough. Come get a coffee and be part of Beau and Jo’s family.“
“This place was great... as a disc golfer best options on the island hands down with great service and help.As a beer lover great options more then you will find anywhere on the island for craft beer and other cocktail items.Food-I'm vegan and a chef and they have some great bbq jackfruit and side options.I stopped here twice on my week there and would reccomend it as a stop. The service was possible the friendlyus I found on the island.Glad I made this one of my first and last stops on my trip!Cheers!Vegetarian options: It was vegan and bbq jackfruit plus on side options“
“This place is a gem! They have delicious waffles with a plethora of creative and hand crafted toppings. This food truck is in a clean, safe, cozy outdoor space complete with picnic tables and sun shade. The service was fantastic and they even offer a generous Kama’aina discount of 25%.“
“THE BEST BURGER ON THE ISLAND IS TRUE!!! We enjoyed & DEVOURED a “Cheesiest Burger” & “Hawaiian 5-0” with the best FRIES! Beyond delicious, perfectly cooked, perfect amount of melted cheese & a pickle in every bite! The slice of Carmelized Pineapple on mine was a wonderfully tasty combination! So glad we got to their location just in time! Find them & enjoy!!! Thanks so much ❤️❤️❤️. We’re driving away my husband is still obsessed saying “That Bun Was Perfect brown & glossy & held up to the juices of the burger & toppings. Soooo goooid!“
“We were looking for something a little off the beaten path and more "authentic" than what was in Kilauea town. We found this on Yelp and decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed! Big Nicks in just off the road in the grass area adjacent to the school. They were so friendly and everything we ate was delicious. The crowd was about 70% locals and 30% tourists. Only 3 picnic tables to eat at but a lot of the patrons were getting their food to go. The burgers were excellent and cooked to order and came with plenty of fries. The Local Boy plate had some beef, chicken and shrimp plus rice and potato salad. All of it was hot and super tasty. If you're looking for ambience or a great view this isn't your place. But if you're looking for good food, large portions and wonderful service then don't miss this place!“
“SimSim is a win-win! This great little food truck is parked on the Club Wyndham Bali Hai Villas property in Princeville, kind of in the center by their Multiplex Court. There are actually a few food trucks that are parked there daily or weekly with some nice covered picnic tables should you decide to enjoy your food outdoors on the spot. My husband and I took our food back to our rental unit since it was really windy. Neither of us had ever had Egyptian Soul Food, so we were intrigued! Who would've thought we'd have Egyptian food for the 1st time on Kauai! When we looked at the menu online, it seemed very similar to Greek cuisine with a lot of vegetarian/vegan options...right up our alley! What we ordered and recommend: * SimSim Bowl Koshary, a 7-layer dish with rice, pasta, lentil, onions, chickpeas, tomato, & garlic sauce * Falafel Wrap, made with fava beans & fresh greens (liked that the wrap was even served warm and lightly toasted) Both were so incredibly flavorful and delicious! Portions were generous and tasted very fresh. They even have an all-day brunch menu, plus new items that may not yet be shown on the online menu, so make sure to ask about any specials! Riham, the owner, is super friendly and welcoming! As of Feb 2024, they're open Mon, Tue & Thu-Sat (closed Wed & Sun) 11am-8pm. Their website is worth checking out too since they share some interesting facts about Egyptian history, spices & cuisine:“
“After trying other boba places on island, Kauai boba and barbecue is the best spot. Bobas are always soft and chewy, drinks are always how you remembered. I've tried many food items and they're delicious with generous portions for the price. The business is family owned and operated. They get busy especially when cruise ships are parked, but enjoy the atmosphere because it's worth the wait.“
“Very delicious food! Service was great. She recommended some of the popular plates. We had the smoked meat plate, Cali plate, and deep fried pork musubi and it was amazing! Took about 10 minutes from ordering to getting our food so very quick! You can eat at the table there or take elsewhere.Vegetarian options: Veggie options are clearly labeled and alternate sides are available.Parking: Parking in the Walmart parking lot.“
“Came here for breakfast after hearing good reviews and now we know why! Omelet was cooked to perfection and the corn beef loco moco was such a nice twist to the loco moco we all know and love. They're friendly and super quick! Came back the next day for the wrap, and they had it ready as I was paying. The chicken and bacon wrap was really good and filling. Loved that it came with avocado“
“O M G. Am I dreaming? Dole Whip is my all-time favorite sweet treat and when I heard about Pineapple in Paradise, I knew I had to try it. Luckily the van was stopped up in Princeville and close by. I got the pineapple dole whip in a pineapple cake cone and it exceeded my expectations. If you have ever been to Disneyland, you know the Dole Whip consistency, color, and flavor is just magical. However, this one topped Disneyland's. First, the whip wasn't hollow inside. The soft serve was packed in the perfect swirl. When I got down to the cake cone, it was the most delicious pound cake tasting cone I've ever eaten. The cake was moist and so unique. Everything about this was outstanding and I cannot recommend this spot enough. If you're in Kaua'i, you need to find this truck's location, and try it for yourself.“
“Having tried several shaved ice places in this trip to Kauai, this has been the best so far. I had a tigers blood & mango shaved ice with a scoop of vanilla Ice Cream. It was amazing and hit the spot. The employee helping us was super friendly as well! Would recommend to anyone looking for good shaved “
“Great place. First place that cooked my eggs "over medium," perfectly. The bacon was crispy, and the potatoes were perfectly done and a little crispy too. My husband loved his waffles as well.Oh, I can't forget about my latte. That was very good. I got whole milk, but they offer nonfat, oat, and almond too.Really nice place.“
“Both the pad thai and the pad see ew were good! I had the tofu pad thai and my husband had the chicken pad see ew, he thought they were a little too sweet. The people working were super nice. There are two picnic tables you can eat at but this place is busy so you may have to share a table.Vegetarian options: Tofu and veggie options“
“No presentation, atmosphere - just straight up good food. My absolute favorite authentic Filipino food truck. OMG. The food reminds me just like the way I had growing up and the cost is amazing. Comfort food. Plus nothing beats enjoying island style cuisine to the scenic backdrop of Kauai with chickens running all around. A must try near the Harbor Mall and Royal Sonesta Resort.“
“I work in princeville, but I live in Kapaa, so when I am too lazy to make dinner I'll come here for tacos. To be honest, this Paco's Tacos location is a lot better than the other ones on the island. They are fast with orders (I usually all ahead and they will be ready by the time I reach Kilauea). I get the al pastor tacos, beans, and rice. They taste great!“
“Tiny little food truck serving up BIG flavors. Might be some of the best tacos I've ever had. Hubby and I traded tacos from getting an order of two each and both were delicious. Octopus Tacos had great sauce and cooked perfectly - you can tell how fresh by the buttery texture. Grilled fish enchilada taco was especially good with the added hot sauce. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for seafood tacos with flavor at a reasonable price. We parked in the lot next door which seemed fine, we ate so quickly at the picnic tables there that not sure if you can get in trouble parking there or not“
