So delicious. The katsu chicken is perfect but ask for extra sauce. The teriyaki chicken was pretty good, but a bit to salty for me. It was the perfect pick-me-up after a day of hiking and snorkeling.

Really good good served up quick! Big portions and friendly staff. We shared 3 plates among a family of 4 and it was perfect for us (2 kids). We enjoyed fried shrimp, kalua pig, and BBQ chicken. Good Mac salad!

I ordered a plate lunch and a musubi. Both were good. There is some seating on the parking lot side of the building. I would eat there again if I was on the north side of Kauai.

The food is exactly what you expect from L&L. Solid barbecue, done well, and just as good as any other L&L you’ve been to. They do run a more limited, modified menu here, though.
That said, the location right in the center of Hanalei makes it worth the stop. Sitting there, hanging out, and just watching the flow of people through town is part of the experience.
If you’re specifically looking for the full L&L menu, you’d probably be better off heading back to Kapaa where there are a couple of locations. But if you’re in Hanalei and want good barbecue in the middle of one of the best little towns on the island, it’s a great place to grab a bite.

We always stop at L&L when we come to Hawaii! I enjoy getting the chicken katsu or the grilled shrimp. I usually do not like macaroni salad but they make a really tasty one!! My fiancé loves the pork lau lau.
The food was OK, we got the BBQ chicken plate, it was cheap but the chicken wasn't very great and the mac salad had kind of an odd flavor to it.
The boba on the other hand was pretty good, very sweet. We got the taro/coconut flavor which I would recommend.
