Kauai Menehune Kitchen is a good place to stop by for lunch or coffee time. The Malasada (Portuguese donuts) and banh mi sandwiches were so fresh and delicious. The malasadas are fresh baked and made to order. The coconut-filled malasada and the plain malasada rolled in cinnamon sugar are both absolutely delicious, with fresh, light, and perfectly soft dough. The burger was great. The plate was ok. As visitors to Kauai, this was one of the highlights of the day. Positioned perfectly for a stop on the way to Waimea Canyon, this spot exceeded expectations. The owner is super friendly, incredibly kind, and very welcoming. Nice outdoor tables are available. The food is so good that visitors would happily come back for more before leaving Kauai. Highly recommended.
