The food was amazing and at a great price. The staff were incredibly welcoming and kind (and talked us into adding malasadas to the order!! Thanks again to them for the suggestion, the donuts were delicious).
We got the roast pork plate and Da Oink, their signature sandwich. Both meals were huge portions. The Mac salad was fantastic, the pork was tender inside and crispy outside, and the gravy damn near stopped my heart with how rich it was.

If you’re visiting the beautiful town of Hanapēpē, your trip is not complete without making a stop here. My only regret is not ordering more food!
The pork and chicken was delicious and filling. Staff was friendly. Highly recommend. Also only 2 outside tables so plan on taking to go.

Kauai Menehune Kitchen is a good place to stop by for lunch or coffee time. The Malasada (Portuguese donuts) and banh mi sandwiches were so fresh and delicious. The malasadas are fresh baked and made to order. The coconut-filled malasada and the plain malasada rolled in cinnamon sugar are both absolutely delicious, with fresh, light, and perfectly soft dough. The burger was great. The plate was ok. As visitors to Kauai, this was one of the highlights of the day. Positioned perfectly for a stop on the way to Waimea Canyon, this spot exceeded expectations. The owner is super friendly, incredibly kind, and very welcoming. Nice outdoor tables are available. The food is so good that visitors would happily come back for more before leaving Kauai. Highly recommended.
