Amazing lavendar-lemon bun! The server nearly put me over the top with their shouting from the till to coworkers though. A lovely, busy little bakery.

We always stop in for delicious treats when we're in Hanapepe. Their selection of pastries is spectacular. The staff are always so down to earth and sweet. You won't be disappointed

Delicious, fresh food. The pizza was a nice surprise, as we didn't see it on the menu. While we were ordering, one of the chefs brought it up and told the woman taking orders it was available. Wow was it delicious! Hanapepe swinging bridge is basically right across the street which was also really fun to see. We will definitely return again when on Kauai.

The best croissant ?!! Can absolutely compete with croissants from France. Everything is fresh from the bakery and the bread is also really delicious. Plus a La Marzocco coffee machine, it couldn't be better. Must do for everyone on Kauai!

Midnight Bear is a true gem! Located in the small town of Hanapepe, they serve up delicious baked goods and cafe drinks. The shop is a cute, relaxed ambiance although it gets busy! I loved everything I've ordered there, but hands down, the almond croissants are the BEST! Other favorite include the Caprese Danish and Everything Danish. This is a must stop any time I'm on Kauai! The staff are very friendly as well! Pro tip, go early or make a phone order!

This bakery, nestled in the artsy town of Hanapēpē, has some of the best freshly baked croissants, savory danishes, breads, and much more. My favorites are the almond croissants and the caprese danish. Be sure to come early, or else they may run out of the ones you wanted. The servers are super friendly - greeting everyone with warm smiles. The restaurant has some tables, so you can done in and drink one of their coffees or tea, or order to take out. The prices are a little elevated; however, it is worth it to treat yourself every once in a while.

Delicious fresh ciabatta, seems like you should get there early as things sell out!

We came by for a sweet treat but they didn't have any pastries as advertised in the window, only whole loaves of bread. You must have to get here very early for a chance at a pastry?

My wife visit Midnight Bear Breads for pastries multiple times each time we stay on Kauai (even though it's about a ten mile drive from where we stay.) We love the macadamia nut cinnamon rolls, the almond croissants, and the pastries with local fruits and cream cheese. Treat yourself with a visit to this fantastic bakery. However, be sure to arrive early (I recommend 15 minutes before opening to get a full selection) or, they have recently started online ordering through their website (must order before 7 PM the day before you want to purchase.)
