Skip the food trucks outside and go right into the store! Authentic local options, something for everyone. The coconut shrimp and guava smoked pork (local surf and turf) were absolutely incredible. While you’re waiting for your food, check out the store and add some things to your bill, it can all be purchased at the same place. It might be intimidating to go into a place like this but support the local community, it’s a win-win with the delicious food!

Beautiful little store with a kitchen in the back that some fantastic local-style Hawaiian food, like home-made lau lau and Guava-smoked pork. Good stuff. Take-out food, but there are tables outside under a large tent and a couple of food trucks too.

This was my first time trying Kaya's Kitchen meals. I had the Furikake Garlic Chicken ($10.99) which was perfect: garlic and salt were just right; mac salad and pickled cucumber were good; lots of rice. What a deal! It's good for two meals! They cook to order; can sit on benches outside while waiting; she brought my order to me when it was done. Great service! I'll go again!

We adore this spot and can’t wait to make it back. The staff is incredibly kind, the food is phenomenal, and the portions are huge for the price. There are tables outside to sit and eat, and it’s just a wonderful, cozy, low-fuss spot to enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

I can’t begin to tell you how many times I dream of getting back to Oahu JUST for Kaya’s. Easily one of our favorite spots on the island!

Just spent a week in Punalu'u and this was 100% our go to morning stop; the butter mochi was delicious, the food was fresh, and their prices are hard to beat. Honestly going to be one of the things I miss the most until I come back to Oahu at some point, cannot recommend stopping here enough!
